Very welcoming and friendly staff. Room and bathroom were a generous size and well appointed. The restaurant and bar area were extensive with good spaces and excellent food for dinner and breakfast. A fan was provided on request and was much needed during the warmer part of the stay. A lovely 3.5 mile hike on Ilkley Moor accessed directly from the hotel.

I really liked the location of the hotel. It is centrally located with walking distance to restaurants, pubs, stores, and even a nice park. Luis was very kind and explained were to go for dinner. I really recommend this place.

We had the excellent balcony room overlooking the wonderful North Yorkshire countryside. Food and service was excellent as usual. We stayed on a Sunday, and particularly liked that there was a lot more than the usual roast dinners on the menu, and dinner was served up to 8.00pm
