The room was nice and clean! The maid was very friendly and accommodating. Our major hurdle was the language barrier. Us being from the US with no Italian at all. We were hard pressed to find someone to communicate with.

Everything... locate on hill, about 6 km from city centre but easily acces by bus. Beautiful panoramic view and neighbourhood. The villa is super super beautiful with lovely garden, spacious room, complete amenities and lots of books ! Renzo very kind and helpful, tidy and very organized. Thank you for your hospitality ! The best hotel I ever stay in Europe.

Lovely place to stay in Tuscani. Alessio, the owner was very kind to allow to us to very late check in (waiting to open the gate and welcome us). We had very good stay and very good breakfast. The house is in the middle of the very beautiful farmhouse and tipical Tuscany greenary. We enjoyed the warm conversation with Alessio and Rosalba and playful time with their little Vittorio and the dog 😊❤️ Definetely recommended! Thank you Alessio, Rosalba, and Vito 🥰

The stay at Mulino Pontevecchio was a cherry on our three weeks Italy road trip :D Mara and Stefano were amazing hosts. And little Martin too (two months old by the time of our visit). They immediately made us fell like at home, with little chats over delicious breakfasts that Mara prepared every day. They gave us a lot of tips for activities around and offered to arrange reservations for nearby restaurants. We even got a goodie bag for the way home to Prague, delicious toasts and homemade cake which totally saved us from the petrol gas junk food :D and also a bottle of homemade jam for home :D The atmosphere of the old mill is just enchanting and finally we had a good sleep, the place is so calming and quiet in the night. Mara has everything spotless clean and well arranged, the place is very cozy. Also, it is a good starting point to go to Firenze (30 minutes drive) and San Gimignano (60 minutes drive), two places that we visited - both are amazing. But it was also nice to just go around the surrounding hills, to see the enchanting countryside and the vineyards everywhere. To summarize, absolutely recommended and hope to visit soon again, we still have some wine tasting to do around :D

    It is a great location - not in central Florence so you get the beauty and quietness of a residential area and it is a 20 minute train ride into Florence, train station is less than 5 mins walk from the house. Such a cute wee accomodation with so much character. Breakfast options were varied. Silvia really made our stay, she is so attentive, friendly and always willing to help with anything if needed. Would 100% stay here again if we visit Florence again.
