My stay at Loloho Lodge exceeded all expectations. We were in Cape Town for the holidays, but my boyfriend became ill and was hopitalized. Sam, the host, was really wonderful, helping me in more ways than I could have imagined. When I arrived, I had such a warm welcome and felt at home. Sam is the best host you could imagine. The lodge itself is really cozy and has a lovely pool. The rooms are nice and in perfect order. I enjoyed the breakfast. Sam is also great in giving you guidance on how to discover the area the best way. The location of the lodge is really good to discover Cape Town. I hope that I will be able to come back to Cape Town to properly visit the city and I will definitely stay at Loloho Lodge again. I will never forget the kindness and warmth I felt during my stay.

Devonport House is a tranquil reprieve from the bustle of Cape Town. Constantia is one of the loveliest areas in all South Africa. The guesthouse is simply superb. The hosts define gracious and welcoming, yet unobtrusive, hospitality. Treat yourself and stay here - it's the perfect place to land after the long flight from Europe or the USA. We will be back!

We Found Our Home Away from Home at The Jewel! Ansu, the manager, and her excellent team truly made our stay special. They went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Their exceptional service and attention to detail were impressive and made our stay truly unforgettable. We recently spent 5 nights at this lovely B&B (a truly luxury boutique hotel) in Cape Town's winelands, and it truly felt like our home away from home. Our room was super comfy, with crisp white bedding, and the patio area was ideal for chilling out with a glass of wine and chatting with other guests. The common areas were also ideal and inviting, making it easy to relax and socialize. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast, which was good and offered enough variety. One thing to note: the pool was under maintenance during our stay, but the cool weather made it perfect timing for it - we didn't miss it at all. Instead, we explored the surrounding wineries and attractions. The Jewel's location is perfect. The proximity to wineries and great restaurants is amazing! And, it's just a short drive to all the major attractions and landmarks of Cape Town. Inside parking is available with previous reservation, a great perk to have. Be sure to book ahead to secure a room, as this gem is sure to fill up quickly! We'd definitely recommend The Jewel to anyone looking for a relaxed stay in Cape Town. It's a lovely place to unwind. PS. The property looks just like the pictures on booking.

I've been wanting to write a review about this gorgeous hotel for a long time. I was impressed. Just amazing. The work that the owners of the hotel have done is incredible. In every detail of the interior, in every little piece, the care of the guests was noticeable. Thoughtfulness in everything. The refrigerator, flowers, fruits, slippers, jars of treats and all sorts of small things – everything indicated that the hotel owners had not just filled the room with some kind of staff, but thought over different scenarios of staying in the hotel and adjusted to them. And it is also visible and felt in literally everything that the owners are not greedy – everything is done with soul and high quality. It's impossible to describe everything – it was just everywhere. I noticed and appreciated every detail. It was very pleasant. And of course, the view from the room is just wonderful.
