It's a farm, so there are animals wandering around the grounds - chickens, sheep and even a turkey. Best part: they asked when I wanted breakfast and baked bread fresh for this time, gave me several home made jams and made a fantastic meal. Filled me up for the day and such a pleasure to eat with the host, who told some fascinating stories. You could stay for cheaper at the Travelodge in the centre of Gainsborough. But if you want an unforgettable stay somewhere that is run by genuinely lovely people, then stay here. It was fantastic.
