I have never experienced such kind helpful staff. Manuel goes above and beyond to help. When we arrived we were having contacting a airline to arrange a ticket refund- he could not have been more helpful and with success. Whilst in Panama we were subject to petty crime and Manuel contacted the Police and came with us to the station to make a statement . We had a bigger room . It was quiet, very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The WiFi worked well and the room had air-con. The kitchen was well equipt and we cooked a few meals. The staff will do your laundry on site for $6 a load. Excellent location- lots of shops ( food stores) and restaurants nearby. Via Argentina is a 10-15min walk. All in all we were so pleased that we chose Hostel IBRAIS - we came back for another stay! (Manuel stored our bags and had helped organise a San Blas tour)

We had less than 24 hours in Panama city, during which we wanted to visit the old town so this was a perfect location for that. This is a relatively small apartment but it has everything you might need. Everything looks new and clean. It is located on the 36th floor, so hopefully you are not afriad of heights, as I am :) The best part is the access to the huge pool on the 10th floor (I think) and the very nice restaurant next to it. The very charming old town (Casco Viejo) is at walkable distance, however the way to get there requires crossing a few big roads, which is not easy, so I would suggest taking an Uber instead. Communication with the owner was great. Make sure to read his messages carefully as there is a lot of necessary information in them!

Centrally located, clear beautiful property. I’m ashamed to say I don’t remember the ladies name at the front desk. She was amazing. If she wasn’t at the front desk she responded to every text within minutes 24 hours a day. I can’t say enough about her. She is amazing.

This apartment was perfect for a 2 night stay with my adult daughter and her boyfriend. The unit is very spacious and beautifully decorated and even includes a washer/dryer. Location was perfect for walking around Casco. For what you get, the price is right!

The room was spacious with high ceilings and tastefully decorated. There's a small kitchen and fridge along with 2 separate and equal sized bedrooms. Best sharing situation (there were 3 of us) that I have had a pleasure to stay. The location is perfect to explore the wonderful restaurants of Casco Viejo.

Unbelievable - the pictures and listing doesn’t do the apartment justice. If you are planning a trip to Panama I’d highly recommend this apartment in the heart of the city. Host was amazing, very responsive and had some great restaurant recommendations for the area.

    This is the best hotel/Airbnb I have ever stayed in and that says a lot. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, their communication was perfect through the apt and they could not have done more for me. Perfect for long term and short term stay. The location is phenomenal and I didn't have to deal with any noise at night. The air con was fabulous and I felt like a queen in this charming mix of old world charm with modern facilities.
