Really friendly staff and breakfast eggs cooked to order (rather then all dried up like many hotels) Rooms aren't posh, but really clean and beds and linen were very comfy. Great value and I'd definitely stay here again.

It was so nice to be able to sit outside at one of the tables in the garden and enjoy the setting sun with supper. Breakfast was spectacular and prepared at the moment. We were not bothered by noise at night even though there is an adjoined pub. Perhaps that depends on the particular day of the week. The hosts were so friendly and went out of their way to help. The location requires dexterity to reach form Luton. We suggest a taxi from Luton airport if you don;t have a car.

David is an excellent host, he has a genuine interest in people and puts you at ease. The breakfast is possibly the best quality we have had to date, it was delicious, with high quality ingredients sourced from specialist butchers. We were given lots of recommendations for local places to eat and visit. The house is as is shown in the photos. The bed was really comfortable and the bath was larger than normal. David's attention to detail is seen throughout, in the antiques and curiosities he has sourced for the house. A real gem, we'll be back.

    The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotless clean plus the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic and every day has a different deal e.g Friday was buy one burger meal get one free and drink was very reasonable buy one bottle of larger,cider etc get another for 1 pound. They have plenty if seating areas and a lovely area for outside with plenty of parking spaces if your driving so all in all a great stay and would highly recommend 😀

    The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. Very quiet location, couldn't hear any traffic or noise. A short drive/walk to the local town. I honestly couldn't fault it.
