Fantastic place, we had the most relaxing night of our holidays here. The location is super quiet and beautiful, nothing but nature sounds. The hotel was easy to find because they have put signs on the road. The room was comfortable and clean and the host kept great communication on the check-in process since we were a bit later than expected. The eye for detail in our room was amazing (fruit, water and the decoration of the bed etc). The breakfast was good and with products harvested from the garden. We wished we had known how good this place was, we wanted to stay longer!

Sonho Paixao was amazing! Would definitely recommend staying here. It had everything you needed. The location was so beautiful and peaceful. It had two bathrooms, one upstairs the other downstairs. Plenty of space to store your belongings. It felt like home. The host came over right before we left and he was so kind and friendly. He was also very responsive to any of our needs or questions during our stay. Would definitely come back and stay here again :)

Absolutely beautiful! This home has a perfect view of the ocean with Porto Moniz off in the distance. For the couple nights that we spent there, it was a perfect retreat to relax and unwind. I would definitely rent a car if you are considering a stay here, since there didn’t seem to be many amenities within walking distance, but otherwise, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful home on the north side of the island only a short drive from Seixal, Porto Moniz, etc. Staff was also very responsive and helpful during our stay.

    The hotel is settled in an ideal location right on the waterfront, which offers fantastic views and sunsets over the ocean. There was absolutely nothing bad to be said about the rooms, pools, infrastructure and on top of all that, the hotel has its own restaurant, which serves excellent food! Must try is one of the Cataplanas on the menu! I truly recommend this hotel and would stay here again without hesitation!

    Spacious rooms. Good equipped, Frederic is super friendly, helpful and understanding person. He was flexible with the check in time. Everything is very clean. There is fridge as well as microwave in the common area. Good location, there is free parking nearby, there are a few small cafes next to the property so you can easily have breakfast in the morning. There is timetable for buses(I saw bus stop a minute away from the house) and some Madeira guides books in the room.

    Large sized room with a comfortable bed. Plenty of power sockets for charging. Bathroom was always spotless and shower had good pressure. Felt like there was only ever one other set of guests staying at the same time. Location set between the mountains which is really beautiful. Quiet area at night as most tourists come to visit during the day. Still a handful of good restaurants in walking distance. Friendly staff even though she only spoke French she did her best to give us the instructions of the guest house.

    It's in heaven! The landscape around is simply amazing. And as it's right in front of the ocean we can hear the waves crushing against the rocks which is very pleasant and helps relax. The decoration is very nice and I loved how everything was set. Plus, its location is ideal as it's an ideal departure point for your trips in the North. And only 40mins away from Funchal
