From the moment I stepped in, i decided to STAY MORE than just 5 days , I felt something different; a cozy, warm, welcoming energy that made me feel instantly comfortable. It’s the kind of place where strangers become friends and every corner holds a memory. The hostel owner, Jax, is such a gem ,friendly, funny, and always there to help with anything. His presence brings life to the place. And his wife ;She’s the sweetest! Her bright smile and daily “Good morning” made me feel like I was truly at home. These little moments meant so much more than they can imagine. I created such special memories with guests from all over the world, bonding over shared meals, late-night chats, and spontaneous adventures. It was more than just a place to sleep it became the heart of my trip. If you’re looking for a place with soul, not just a bed, but a whole experience, stay here. I’ve traveled a lot, but this hostel set a new standard for what “hospitality” means. I will absolutely return.

The hotel is situated not only in busy Myeong Dong, but also directly on the Euljiro 1ga station, which is pretty much the most convenient tourist-attraction subway line in Seoul (direct line to Hongdae, Dongdaemun, Seongsu, etc). The Airport Limousine is a 2 min walk. The hotel is pretty much fully automated. We checked in and checked out via a machine without a hitch, but there is still an attendant nearby to answer all of our questions. There were also sufficient umbrellas for guests to borrow when it rained. We had the largest corner suite with a separate living room. The room was more spacious than it seemed in the pictures, minimal and immaculate. My daughter LOVED the bunk bed (because she’s never slept in one) and the hair conditioner. All in all, a perfect room for our family of 3.

The location is perfect for someone who wants the convenience of moving from Seoul to another cities quickly. It is quite and private. I could work without interruptions. The wifi was fast. I stayed in a private room with a private shower. The shared kitchen is just perfect to heat a meal or drink a cup of coffee on peace. During my stay, it was always empty except for the staff doing the housekeeping in the morning. I stayed on the 5th floor and I did not mind taking the stairs.

Has literally everything you could possibly need, free laundry and even has some nice gaming PCs, definitely the best budget hotel I've been to, wish I would have seen it sooner.

Seoul Cube Myeongdong provides rooms in Seoul near Namdaemun Market and Seoul Station.
