Cheap hotels in Venice

I love the place 100%，it has a big leisure area and a big cafe downstairs. The staffs are helpful too

the rooms were comfy and close to taxi boats

I loved my stay at Il Lato Azzurro. The hotel and rooms are exactly as they appear in the listing, which I really appreciated. It feels like staying at a welcoming family farmhouse, with a warm, relaxed atmosphere that is delightfully different from Venice, even though the water bus is nearby and makes it easy to get back and forth. The island feels quiet, rural, and removed in the best way. It was a lovely contrast to the busier parts of Venice, and I enjoyed everything about my stay. One helpful tip for future guests: if you are not planning to eat dinner in the city, make a dinner reservation at the hotel earlier in the day. The hotel’s 8pm dinner is the only place to eat on the island, and it is worth planning ahead for.

Great service, kind, acommodating. Great facilities. It is a little far to get to. but Sta. Helena is so charming, with great history.

Quaint old building remodeled inside. On a piazza and canal.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I loved the room's charm and view.

Great location, clean, super comfortable and lovely common area.

Location was great, once you found it! Venice isn't easy to navigate and locating the property took a while. Was suppos3d to be a 10 to 15 minute walk and took almost 1 hour.

Close proximity to the main attractions of the city

Reception was perfect! Really clean and comfortable. Recommended.

A delightful surprise. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a great bathroom. Well located near Piazza San Marco with a couple of lovely osterias on the doorstep. Very special to wake hp to the church bells ringing!

It was a perfect location. About halfway between the Colosseum and the Vatican. Right on the Tiber. And in the Trastevere area rightfully known for its food! The staff, Francesca, was courteous and very helpful in answering all of our questions.

Location, host and the house itself

Location, location, location! If you’re coming to Venice for a short stay, this spot is perfect. You’re basically in a 10-minute radius of everything you’ll want to see, which makes exploring incredibly easy. Watching people line up for ferries and gondolas just to get around Venice looked exhausting, it’s busy season. We didn’t have to do any of that. Everything we wanted to see was walkable from this spot (we only needed the ferry to get here and leave.) For a short stay, that alone made the location worth it. The room itself is ground-floor level, so you’re not getting the dreamy “Venice room overlooking the canal” experience. If you have the $$$ to spend and want the full romantic Venice experience, I’d definitely splurge on a room with a water view. Otherwise, this place is excellent value for what you actually need. It’s also SO cute. The design has beautiful mosaic details, and our bathroom had these circular-shaped sinks that felt very OG Venice, Very traditional Venetian-house vibes. It had so much character, and everything was super clean and well kept. They also let us check-in early and kept our bags, which is huge for Venice! Venice itself was incredible - surprisingly the local shops have good deals to be found and quality leather to buy (Pro tip: If you’re hitting Venice before Florence, DO NOT wait until Florence to buy leather! Shop the little leather stores in Venice. We waited thinking Florence would have better options and regretted it. Venice had some of the cutest pieces we saw and cheaper prices) - but you really don’t need to overcomplicate your itinerary. There isn’t a lot of distance to cover. San Marco, the Rialto Bridge, beautiful little piazzas, canals and alleyways, the magic is mostly in wandering around in the little alleys, and everything is really close. The room had everything we needed, everything worked, it was clean, and the host was super responsive and helpful.

Great, central location. Excellent person met us, give some recommendations and advises.

Clean, friendly, everything was new, very comfortable beds, couldn’t figure out how to watch Netflix but it was there, restaurants nearby, 2 minutes walk from the veporetto station SanMarko-San Zaccaria.

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The room was comfortable, everything was well organized, and there were no issues with the accommodation itself. At the same time, we would like to note that the reception staff were very kind, polite, and helpful, and their service was much appreciated.

Cleanliness, Service, Spacious

Location to the train station. Super clean. Quiet, curtains are blackout, handy for sleeping.

The location is perfect. The room was super clean and the staff were great too. The breakfast was exactly what we needed.

This is the third time we are staying in this hotel, which means that we are very satisfied This time, as old guests, we got a large room with a view of one of the transverse canals, which also contributed to the atmosphere. The cleanliness is impeccable, the staff is extremely friendly, the location of the hotel is excellent Breakfast is also very good

The breakfast was excellent and the service was exceptional and the room very clean and had everything except a fridge, however I was accommodated with some cold food which the staff provided a fridge for my food. Great location and easy access to the water bus and galleries and museums

Close to center shops and restaurants
