What Guests Said About Adelaide:

  • 8.0

    Restaurants were plentiful.

Restaurants were plentiful. Fairly easy to drive around the city. Close to beach and hills. Would have been hard to get around by public transport. Parking wasn't always easy. Not that entertaining for children, but the Hahndorf farm barn was a hit and reasonably priced compared to the zoo or the Adelaide Show. Playgrounds were close to the cbd which was also useful. We went in Winter so the weather was hit and miss. We got caught out a few times but as we had a car it was fine. A big Art culture so it was great to see the artworks around town. And the architecture was great to see but was expecting more churches. Overall a good long weekend stay for the family.

Rooms were great, comfortable, staff friendly. Not many places you get coffee maker, and microwaves in them. Tram not far to walk in our 70’s so was easy for us to go to the market, and into Rundle Mall.

Transport options are great following construction of tram lines. Entertainment and dining options are good but limited due to population size. We really liked the old Tattersall’s pub opposite our accomodation - food and staff were 1st rate. Transport immediately outside and shopping a 2 minute walk away.

I have been to Adelaide many times over many years, but have stayed with family. This time I chose to stay in a hotel and I'm glad I did. The Ibis is so close to everything and I liked that, even on a Monday evening, there were lots of people around and I felt safe. A vibrant city, with beautiful architecture, parks and gardens and I especially like the Central Markets, which I visited early on Tuesday morning. The Art Gallery of South Australia, which was the focus of my visit, is really beautiful and I particularly enjoyed their current exhibition, Dangerously Modern. In general, the gallery has a wonderful collection, well worth viewing again.

Lovely hotel with great hospitality and incredible amenities. From start to finish service was excellent with Dushan and the front office team leading the way. Hotel is very centrally located in Adelaide CBD, situated a stone throw's away from the Adelaide markets and Chinatown district. More importantly our room was spotless and king beds were luxurious.

The cabin was comfortable and neat for our family of 5. Our 3 teens enjoyed the comfortable stay and homey feel of the place. Everything that we needed was already there, from utensils to comfy pillows and blankets. Plus! The location is accessible to CBD and beaches that we planned to visit in Adelaide.
