Uluru and the Red Centre have to be seen to be believed. Yulara resort is extremely well set up to help visitors make the most of their time. It is a unique and special location ..and a truly beautiful one. It was our first experience of the red centre and I was struck by the beauty of the landscape particularly in the soft light of dawn and sunset and the stillness …and a big night sky I hadn’t ever experienced before. Great place to experience, to see Uluru and walk around it and learn about its importance to the traditional owners. Went out to the Olga’s and saw the sunrise over Uluru, it was spectacular. We had perfect weather had just rained so left us with some lovely green scenery. Weather was perfect. A little hassle with flies so need a net for face. Ayers Rock was a bucket list destination.
Ayers Rock was a bucket list destination. I have now scratched that itch. It was OK but don't feel the need to ever return. Sadly it rained the two days we were there - (most unusual), which kept the flies at bay but didn't really allow us to make the most of our time there. It is beautiful and I think has to be done if you are able, but two days is more than enough unless you are able to get out there and do some walkingGuest review byNettledUnited Kingdom

We stayed in the 4 bed dorms and there was nothing that bothered us. Everything was clean, there were towels and even warm thick blankets which were needed during the cold desert nights in June. You can ask the reception for some great kitchen utensils; it won’t cost you. The communal kitchen is big and has everything you’d need for a couple of days. Location of the hotel is perfect (not that any other places wouldn't be close to the town square). Big and pretty pool area with towels provided and lots of information about the resort at reception. They provided cow and soy milk for coffee/tea which was much appreciated. There is a free shuttle bus inbetween all of the other hotels and their restaurants in the resort.
