Very cute, nice and clean cottage. beautiful garden and lovely location. all the attention to details like coffee machine with coffee pods, books, etc.
Bicheno is a seaside small town designed for relaxation. Seafood from The Shack is a real winner. Fresh lobsters and scallops on tap at realistic prices right on the waters edge. Eat in or take away. Great bakery and a couple of other good places to eat. Probably avoid the pub as it's a little on the rough side. Otherwise a great stay with spectacular scenery.
I'm a serious fisherman and I walked across the road and caught 20 slimy material.Whilst fishing a sea lion came in,looking for a feed then black dolphins. For a feed the lobster shack for a lobster roll, yummy.Local bakery does scallop pies, wow with roe,to die for. That was breakfast.Small town with ocean appeal. If someone offered me a job in this beautiful coastal town,I'm in.
The Blowhole was amazing. We spent at least 1 hour here, unreal force of nature. The penguins very cute. The log house general store packed full of everything - found great souvenirs there. The pub has a great drive through bottle shop. easy location for Coles Bay trip.
It was central between Bay of fire (St Helen’s) and wineglass bay. The town is beautiful. Bakery and Lobster Shack were awesome. The only thing missing was a fresh seafood place and butchery to buy supplies and take home. Can be bought from the IGA but expensive. Otherwise all you need is there.
Bicheno is a smallish seaside town with beautiful beaches, several good shops and cafes, a bakery, great fish and chips and a hotel. There is a range of accommodation to suit all tastes. There is also a history trail and a walk up to the lookout for a magnificent view.
Very expensive place to visit. Everything especially food is overpriced. Could not believe you cannot get a meal or buy takeaways after 7pm. Only one place open, mostly all eateries closed by 6pm. The scenery is beautiful but that's about it. Probably the least favorite place visited in Tasmania.
Bicheno
I was so dumb and I lost my way. Gave Bob a call and he was quickly to respond on the phone and showed me directions. The property is just on the main road but to get to the carpark you need to turn into the road from where the church is and park at the back of the property. The property is pretty new and more like a polished, modern motel. Free wifi and free Netflix. Bicheno itself is a nice town to explore, we went to the blowhole before sunset, which was memorable. You can also take the penguin tour but we didn't go.
Bicheno
Great location close to town, the school house was fairly comfortable and quiet during the holidays as it’s opposite a real school. Lovely deck to sit out on, the home and bathroom is wheelchair friendly should you need this facility. The historical aspect was interesting and appealing also. A short walk to town with an IGA and nice restaurants, and easy walk to the two fancy fish and chips and the blowhole. Across the way to a good swimming beach, playground and fairy penguins to see in the evening.
Bicheno
Bicheno was the perfect stop for my family, after Port Arthur we stopped here for the night and enjoyed the Penguin tour, Wildlife Animal Park and the blow hole. After a long day it was great to be able enjoy a BBQ followed by a leisurely stroll down to the white fine sandy beach and relax with Diamond Island as the perfect back drop.
Bicheno
This was one of our favourite places that we stayed on our two & a half week trip around Tasmania. Great little house with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Great water views from back of the property (very short walk). Was cool hearing the penguins return home late at night.
Bicheno
The house was exceptionally clean, and had all of the amenities needed for a family of five on the road. We were very appreciative of the hand sanitiser and bathroom supplies being plentiful. I would not hesitate to bring my family back to Bicheno Blue Horizon to stay.
Bicheno
Up the Back was our favorite accommodation on our Tasmanian trip. The house was clean, spacious and very comfortable. It was very well equipped and the washing machine was most appreciated. The location was very quiet and the sea view was lovely.
Bicheno
The apartment had the most amazing view and it was a delight to sit there over breakfast. The beds were comfortable and it was extremely warm and cosy, despite the Tasmanian winter. It was also very quiet which was important for light sleepers.
Bicheno
Great location, ocean views. Hosts were exceptional, freshly baked bread, eggs, herbs, soups. Facilities were excellent. Highly recommend Bicheno Bell for its great location and the wonderful hospitality of Laura & Nigel.
The location is beautiful! Right next to the beach and only a short drive to town. The hotel restaurant was great too! I had 2 very good sized meals there and they were delicious. Plenty of room in the villa for 2 people.
Beautiful private beachfront area with lots of birds twittering outside the windows. The safe beach was delightful and empty, with interesting tide pools full of life and scenic wild views. Young children will love it.
Bicheno
Bicheno is a lovely holiday town and Beach House XIV is pleasantly located in a street with local families. There were neighbourhood children riding their bikes on the street when we arrived. We felt right at home.
We stayed in one of the motel rooms and were very happy with our decision. Bicheno by the Beach is centrally located, and our room was big and well equipped. Families with children will enjoy the facilities.
