Set on 4 acres of native coastal gardens, Sandpiper Cottages offers pet friendly beachfront accommodation just a short walk through sand dunes to beautiful Denison Beach. This is a really nice place to stay.Everything has been thought about. It was probably the cleanest place I have been to.It was such a bonus to be able to bring our dog as it is very difficult to leave him behind. The owners are very nice and helpful. In all it is highly recommended
Located on 6.5 acres, Bicheno East Coast Holiday Park features accommodations with limited free WiFi and free on-site parking. All accommodations offers a patio, a TV and a kitchenette. Best location to go see Bicheno Beams. It was a 10 min walk from accomodation to Bichino Beams.
Located in Bicheno, a 5-minute walk from Bicheno Beach, The Hub Bicheno has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. place was very clean and comfortable. There is also laundry next to the building so I could wash all staff I needed. room was big and clean.
Located in Bicheno in the Tasmania region, with Bicheno Beach nearby, Gaol House Cottages has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Very cute, nice and clean cottage. beautiful garden and lovely location. all the attention to details like coffee machine with coffee pods, books, etc.
Bicheno is a lovely spot, but if you are in for hiking, camping and exploring, a little further up the road is Coles Bay and Freycinet Nat Park. Well worth the visit. we will be going back and staying closer for some hikes and adventures.
We stayed there to visit eastern Tasmania, with places such as Bicheno Blowhole, Freycinet National Park and Coles Bay. Its a small town with an IGA but not much else. We went to Hursey Seafood Restaurant for dinner with the kids, and found the place too pricey for the quality and taste of food they provide.
Bicheno is a seaside small town designed for relaxation. Seafood from The Shack is a real winner. Fresh lobsters and scallops on tap at realistic prices right on the waters edge. Eat in or take away. Great bakery and a couple of other good places to eat. Probably avoid the pub as it's a little on the rough side. Otherwise a great stay with spectacular scenery.
I'm a serious fisherman and I walked across the road and caught 20 slimy material.Whilst fishing a sea lion came in,looking for a feed then black dolphins. For a feed the lobster shack for a lobster roll, yummy.Local bakery does scallop pies, wow with roe,to die for. That was breakfast.Small town with ocean appeal. If someone offered me a job in this beautiful coastal town,I'm in.
The Blowhole was amazing. We spent at least 1 hour here, unreal force of nature. The penguins very cute. The log house general store packed full of everything - found great souvenirs there. The pub has a great drive through bottle shop. easy location for Coles Bay trip.
It was central between Bay of fire (St Helen’s) and wineglass bay. The town is beautiful. Bakery and Lobster Shack were awesome. The only thing missing was a fresh seafood place and butchery to buy supplies and take home. Can be bought from the IGA but expensive. Otherwise all you need is there.
This was the perfect overnight stopover on our road trip in Tasmania. Wish we actually stayed longer. Bicheno is a beautiful place and there were many things we could have done and seen had we lingered abit. The hotel was in a great location. Right across the main beach and just a short walk away from the town centre (great footpath access to the beach and the town). Basic and clean. Loved the view of the sea from our room. Comfortable bed, we slept quite well here.
The cute cabin had amazing views of sheep and the ocean. The best part was the location to the beach where it’s just a stroll down to see the penguins! We are big animal people and this was by far the highlight of our trip. It is also very close to the main part of Bicheno!
Up the Back was our favorite accommodation on our Tasmanian trip. The house was clean, spacious and very comfortable. It was very well equipped and the washing machine was most appreciated. The location was very quiet and the sea view was lovely.
Great location, ocean views. Hosts were exceptional, freshly baked bread, eggs, herbs, soups. Facilities were excellent. Highly recommend Bicheno Bell for its great location and the wonderful hospitality of Laura & Nigel.
Bicheno is a lovely holiday town and Beach House XIV is pleasantly located in a street with local families. There were neighbourhood children riding their bikes on the street when we arrived. We felt right at home.
Modern and clean premises, available washing machine and facilities, great location and close to the beach. On site tennis court was fun. Bicheno is a beautiful place on the Tasmanian east coast.
- stayed in queen room which was separate from backpackers - great location for an overnight stay in Bicheno - self contained accomodation in well equipped albeit outdated condo
We were here for 1 night, it was 10 mins to our Bicheno penguin tour. Spacious for our small family. It was perfect for a night stopover.
Beautiful location, amazing rooms, and extra special to see the penguins just walking around the hotel grounds.
Very clean and well appointed. Great family accommodation in a quiet location, even has a small backyard.
Best location to go see Bicheno Beams. It was a 10 min walk from accomodation to Bichino Beams.
New, spacious, large TV with Netflix, great location walking distance to restaurants and hotel.
The property had everything you could require for a short or long holiday.
Everything. Best part of Tasmania.Make sure you stay

The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, the heating warmed the place, was located close to town and attractions. Easy driving to Freycinet National Park. The views were amazing
the view, space, outdoor, of course bathroom, kitchen and bedroom - exceptional.
