Had to book here last minute as other accom got cancelled. Turned out to be great accommodation for our group with super convenient location to the town (few minutes walk to the main street) and easy entry access. Nice modern apartment, with private balconies, good living areas, both bedrooms with big modern ensuites, and good kitchen facilities. Would happily stay again.

The Olive Farm is such a comfortable, relaxing and spacious homestay. The many big windows offer wonderful views of the garden as well as the sunrise and sunset from either inside the place or while seated on the 2 outside areas. There is an abundance of bird and wild life to enjoy. And arriving on a hot afternoon the homestay was well cooled with the air conditioners and ceiling fans as well as cold orange juice in the fridge and provisions for a full breakfast for the 2 days. Highly recommended

We enjoyed Clare and surrounds immensley.

We enjoyed Clare and surrounds immensley. Mintaro and Reily's was a highlight. We really enjoyed our dinner at Ragu and on he next night at Antidonte. Breakfast was great at 1871 cafe along with the biggest mug of coffee we have ever had. The Reisling trail for walking was great and a visit to Bungaree station a highlight.

For great food go to Pinto’s in Clare.

For great food go to Pinto’s in Clare. Great service in a casual setting. For something special go to the Slate restaurant at Pikes. We’ll be back for the exceptional food, wine and service. Drop in to the Maggie & Stump in Mintaro for a drink and a hearty meal with the friendly locals

Clare overall is a really cosy town that embraceses its heritage as being a wine tourism town that also supports the Clare valley region. It boasts ample facilities in the town for all needs despite only having a fixed population of 3000 people.

Clare Valley Distillery was great we both like a good gin.

Clare Valley Distillery was great we both like a good gin. Maybe they should think about some sort of food as a few people that also visited at the same time as us were asking if they had any food. We also went to Paulett's wines. That was fantastic, I would recommend that. We also went to Cafe 1871 in town a couple of times and would highly recommend them. The Middle Pub (Clare Hotel) was a great country pub and worth the visit. So many places to visit so the first place should be the Clare wine & tourist info building to gather some information and map

Even in winter, plenty to do, walking trails, bike trails, excellent cafes and hotels with cosy log fires. Wineries, scenery, Clare has it all. Also, everyone we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Clare is a friendly, vibrant town with beautiful landscape.

Clare is a friendly, vibrant town with beautiful landscape. The location is ideal to visit from Adelaide and stay 1-2 nights. Highlights include the local cafes & hotel (pub quiz). In particular, we recommend Cafe 1871, Zest Cafe & Bentley Hotel. There are walking trails nearby like Neagles Rock short walk. Clare is ideal for a relaxing short holiday especially if you enjoy wine.

Clarevale Cottage is the most well equipped B&B we have ever stayed in. Before we arrived we were asked whether we preferred white or red wine. The wine was in the fridge upon our arrival together with cheese and crackers. The breakfast supplies were ample- bacon, eggs, cereal, plunger coffee, toast and spreads. Everything was thought of! Washing and drying facilities and even a torch by the bedside. And chocolates! It is perfectly located, a few minutes from the Main Street and the lovely Riesling Trail

Extremely clean, spacious, comfortable and private accommodation. Communication with the host was first class. The location is ideal for visiting Clare Valley wineries and villages nearby. Every possible need has been thought of and catered for, including breakfast, firewood and even a bottle of wine. We would definitely stay at St Helens cottages again.
