Clean comfortable bedding we could not fault our stay at Clare’s at all all ammenities were clean and working huge space in room walking distance to shops and pubs would definitely recommend this property
I always enjoy visiting Skillogalee Restaurant for a meal and walking around their lovely garden surrounded by rolling hills and grapevines. I also love having a meal at the Indian restaurant 'Iinde' in the Main Street, Clare. I was disappointed that The Olive Bus was temporarily closed until November - A very nice place to relax and enjoy a light meal and a coffee. The Clare Art Gallery is always a 'must visit' for me. Clare is always a nice place to return to.
We had planned to do the Riesling Trail by bike but because of the torrential rain we had to cancel the bikes and go by car. In truth I was a little relieved, the Clare Valley is really very hilly and some areas are very steep which would have been pretty hard work by bike.
Lots of things to see and do over the period. Nice walking both north and south along the Riesling Trail. Lots of traffic on the main road to Clare from Adelaide including repairs. Multiple ATM's, banks and food supplies.
Very picturesque and lots of wineries to visit. Appeared to be plenty of choices for accommodation types. Sevenhill Winery has lots of history to discover and Claymore Wines provided us with a very relaxing afternoon enjoying a charcuterie board and wine tasting. We stayed at the Country Club and dined at their restaurant which was very good. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we had to stay a second night and booked a B&B at Bungaree Station just out of town, which was an excellent end to our visit
Clare
Excellent service at reception. Was given great advice on what to do in the time we had in Clare and loved what we did. We booked an economy cabin - it was small but very clean, well located, had everything we needed and was comfortable. Even though we didn't have children with us, commented to my husband that the recreational facilities for children were excellent - my granddaughter (aged 4) would have loved it.

Also nice and handy to Clare, local restaurants and all the regional wineries. Breakfast provisions were great and matched exactly our specific requests.

Perfect setting for a weekend getaway. Everything about this site is amazing, comfy beds, amazing spa/bathroom and an open fire place to top it off. Breakfast was supplied as these are self contained rooms, and we just topped up with some extra trimmings from the local markets. Already planning another Clare weekend away.
Clare
The location was great - only a short walk to the main street of Clare and entrance to the Riesling Trail was even closer. The breakfast provided was plentiful for us for two days. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to sit in the lounge to watch a movie and enjoy a meal at the dining table.
The breakfast provisions were of good quality and generous, so were the bottles of wine. The room was bright and clean. Deep bath and spacious shower, good design. Both were maintained well. It was convenient to get around and it was nice to see nature outside the window.
Nice central location, attached to a busy hotel with good atmosphere, bars and restaurant. Easy walking to the main street. Room was large, warm and very clean. Staff were friendly and efficient.
