Nestled in the hills of the Clare Valley on 42 acres of farmland, Bukirk Glamping is just a 5-minute drive from Clare, where you will find wineries, shops and cafe's. Alison (Chook) is awesome, she made us feel right at home and let us know all the good spots to hit up in the valley. She is doing an amazing job, it was a 5 Star day for sure!

Featuring garden views, Windmill Cottage has accommodations with barbecue facilities, around 3.9 miles from Jim Barry Wines. Generous provisions left for us by Narelle and Ian. Comfortable bed. Plenty of room. Birdwatching out of the window and on the verandah was lovely. View on the western boundary at sunset is beautiful. A very enjoyable stay. Would come back again - maybe in autumn-winter - thanks Narelle and Ian!

The cottage was everything we were after, tranquil, cosy & so relaxing. Our breakfast & sweet snacks & wine were delicious.Loved every minute of our stay.
We had a 2 day short weekend away - we travelled from the Copper Coast which only took about 1.5 hours. On Saturday we went to several wineries, Sussex Squire, Tim Adams, Mr Mick's were we had and awesome Tapas lunch and fabulous desert then a stay at the Clare Valley Motel, we visited the Alpaca's next door before dining at the motel restaurant. Sunday we went to the Autumn Garden Show then finished off at another 3 wineries, Shut the Gate (a must visit), Seven Hills and Mad Bastards...Then headed back home to Moonta Bay - We will be back....
Put visiting the tourist information center on your list of things to do. They have a wealth of knowledge of what to do in the area and restaurants to visit, they will even ring and book you in if you would prefer. The Riesling Trail is fabulous too. Great for walking and would be wonderful if you are a bike rider too.
The beautiful autumn trees enhanced our expectations! Besides the wineries, we loved our visit to Bungaree Station, very knowledgeable and interesting people who gladly shared information about both the station and surrounding businesses.
Only an hour and 1/2 from Adelaide on a beautiful drive. In Autum or winter it is cool but scenery is stunning with orange leaves on treees, the deep green of fields and vines on the hills. Acccomodation is available in or near town and allows easy access to the wineries and to the pubs and shops in the town. Wineries have some of the friendliest people in the industry, all to willing to demonstrate their products. Many have now included breweries and/or restaurants into their cellar doors and this gives it great variety and diversity. If you want a relaxing weekend away with something for everyone, then Clare is a perfect location.
A gem of a small town located between rolling hills and surrounded by wineries. Well treed area, unlike the more arid landscapes slightly further north and to the east. Friendly with adequate facilities and eateries. Good place to stay for visiting wineries. A little further from Adelaide than the Barossa Valley, but still not too far away and worth the slightly longer drive.
Loved Paulette's winery on the way to Mintaro. The Bushman's platter was amazing and the view is the best in the Valley. Martingale Hall was a stand out to visit and learn more about the history of the town. The cellar doors and winemakers we met were welcoming, generous and inspiring. Mr Mick Restaurant was highly enjoyable and we loved the 'Tapas' style dining. Seed Restaurant was enjoyable for an intimate dinner.
The peaceful and private location with stunning views of the vineyard and farming area around Clare. The pool and outside area and the spacious interior made this an ideal package for our 4 couples. The warmth, friendliness and attention to detail from our hosts was memorable. The amenities and breakfast provisions were generous and all we needed. We particularly enjoyed the provision of games for our evening relaxation time after touring the Clare. Finska was a major winner.
Supply of breakfast goodies, fresh fruit, bread etc. etc. Overall everything you need is here. Lovely forest setting close to the vineyards and 10 minute walk to the cellar. Excellent restaurant in rustic setting with option of beautiful outside dining areas. The cottage is very spacious. BBQ under the verandah with seating for dining. No light pollution for amazing view of the night sky. Many vineyards in easy driving distance. 10 minute drive from Clare town. Superb wines.
Rose cottage was charming and perfect for 2. Well appointed with the spa bath and fully stocked kitchen with everything necessary to cook our own breakfasts at our convenience. Booking the bike rental through them worked very well and they picked us up for our cycle on a very chilly morning. The cottages are located in a quiet spot but it is still possible to walk into Clare for restaurants if you like.
The house was lovely, very inviting, very clean and very comfortable and we appreciated the small touches Sue put into making us feel welcome. The front garden and closest part to the house of the back garden was very beautiful and well kept. We loved that it was a pet friendly accommodation as it meant we could take our pets with us.
The apartment had a beautiful modern bathroom, very comfy bed, undercover parking, and fresh breakfast ingredients are provided. We wanted to stay somewhere close to Seed and Umbria, which turned out to be about a 30 second walk away! We will probably stay here for all future visits to clare valley
Beautiful setting and right outside Clare (so close). The tents were amazing and the host Alison is phenomenal. Everything has been put together so beautifully. Absolutely loved my stay
Great views. Clean. Excellent place to relax. Central location for visiting Clare Valley. Plenty of information on activities in the area.
Position and grounds were appealing, bed was clean and comfortable. But price was inflated enormously for the Clare Show weekend.
Absolutely amazing accommodation. Every single thing was there to make our stay perfect. Great base to explore Clare Valley.
Easy park off road. Very comfortable. Nice deck and outside spaces. Barbecue. Great kitchen and living room. Good location.
Cheap but could not fault it for value for money. Close to Clare and The Reisling Trail so a great place for walking.
Excellent accommodation. Large bright airy rooms with great bed. Centrally located in Clare
Lovely spot from which to tour Clare valley.
Clean, beautiful views, every creature comfort - felt like it was our own holiday home with little touches like candles, CDs, games and well stocked breakfast provisions and bottle of local wine.
Wonderful hosts and great meals. Perfect location for visiting brilliant wineries in the Clare Valley. No hesitation recommended others stay at the Thorn Park by the Vines
