The distance to the entrance to the epic Cradle Mountain National Park is the killer feature of this comfy hotel: 5 minutes. The property has nice chill spaces with fireplaces and gaming/social areas to escape the hotel room vibe. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Food was tasty. But again the proximity to the entrance of the park was killer.

Gorgeous, huge windows looking out over the forested mountain (no humans or other cabins in sight), and a skylight in the cozy loft bedroom (where you can open the window to let in fresh air and hear the birds). I like the gamebook and color book and colored pencils (analog fun). You can walk down the gravel drive to admire the gorgeous ferns and trees. Great place to stay when visiting Cradle Mountain National Park and you want some privacy. Get Groceries in a city ahead of time or eat at the Inns/Lodges around the park.

Located in Moina, 21 miles from Dove Lake, Cradle forest inn has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities.

Was just twenty kms from cradle mountain..easy to find our cabin. Great communication regarding key access It was so cosy and warm and bed was comfortable. Nice big room
