I love the serenity and I love the fact that the shops close...
I love the serenity and I love the fact that the shops close early. It makes it feel like everyone is on holidays. The local shops have everything you need and it's just a short stroll from the Holiday Park. There are places to eat out at (the bowling club, pizza place, pub, Chinese...)there's a Foodworks, butcher, bakery, chemist, surf shop and a few ladies clothing and giftware shops.Guest review byRachaelAustralia - 4.0

Beautiful beach, lagoon and head land. The surfing was amazing to watch. Great breakfast at SLSC - Great value food and great coffee. The house we rented was not great especially for the price but it was close walking distance to beach and restaurants.Guest review byRobert - 10.0
Crescent Head is a fabulous town to holiday in.
Crescent Head is a fabulous town to holiday in. We have been holidaying in Crescent Head since the mid 70s. It has changed a lot over the years, a few good coffee shops and club and tavern serving good food and clothing shops, post office, news agent, butcher, baker. We graduated from staying large tents in the caravan park to staying in cabins and now renting a house when we stay for extended time.Guest review byIanAustralia - 8.0

We love the pristine beach at Crescent Head with the cafe at the beach for breakfast and lunch. We love walking up the spit to see the whales and watch the golfers on one side and surfers on the other. Beautiful views across the bay. Sadly it was very windy when we were there. It is important to choose your accommodation wisely so that you have a lovely spot to retreat to when the wind comes up. Amazing location with ocean views, I recommend keep the curtains open at night to see the stars and sunrise. Everything was excellent, we did not end up doing any cooking but did make a cup of coffee in the morning. Super clean and felt like being in our own private hotel.
