This was a beautiful 2 bedroom guest suite which was exactly what we needed. Lovely newly renovated clean space. As this is in a rural area, you do need a vehicle. And we saw Kangaroos as soon as we pulled in driveway!

The location was lovely and quiet, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. We loved the balcony which overlooked the back area of the units, as we could sit quietly relaxing. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed a lovely dinner each night in the hotel which is very close. All staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

I loved that not only was it the best place I have ever stayed in Gympie, but the owners went above and beyond to make such our stay was awesome. they thought of everything from a fresh loaf of bread to a first aid kit. Absoluty and awesome place to stay and will be my first point of contact in the future.

Like I said it would have been perfect if I could have a cup...

Like I said it would have been perfect if I could have a cup of tea in front of the TV - when you live on your own it’s nice to have a bit of noise and next time I would probably bring a transistor radio. I lived on a property in Central Queensland for over 40 years and am a recent town person so the location was lovely but technology is not my thing and I don’t have Netflix and the like. I think it’s a great place for a short stay and I would recommend it 😊

I was greeted as soon as I arrived.

I was greeted as soon as I arrived. The cottage is a large open-plan room with a ensuite bathroom. The Queen size bed was very comfortable. Netflix is provided. Extra 1 litre filtered water bottles were available for free. The fridge has a small freezer for your ice bricks. Great air conditioning and a ceiling fan. A small sofa also very comfy. Also had a microwave. The shower was a double cubicle size, very clean, basin and toilet also immaculate. Great mirror light in bathroom also. Fire pit is provided but, I think we had a fire ban at present, and I didn't need it. Would definitely stay there again next year if I'm in the area. Curra Country Club is a 1.2km courtesy bus ride away for meals/entertainment when applicable.

Curra is a good spot to break up the drive to Brisbane.

Curra is a good spot to break up the drive to Brisbane. It is within easy reach of Gympie, the servo and general store are only a couple of kilometres away and the Gympie bypass is just a little drive north - then you are back on the road to Brisbane.

Highly recommend .

Highly recommend . The Atmosphere was fantastic both inside and out. With Birds ,Kangaroos and Beautiful trees all around.. You just relax as soon as you arrive. We're sorry we didn't have time to get a Massage here to. Definitely our place to come back to next time we're up here.

EXCELENT.

EXCELENT. CLEAN AND IDEAL FOR A FAMILY GROUP OF THREE LIKE OURS. A HOME AWAY FROM HOME WITH ALL AMENITIES PROVIDED, PLUS APPRECIATED EXTRAS LIKE FRESH EGGS AND CHOCOLATES. SITUATED IN HEART OF COUNTRYSIDE; VERY PEACEFUL AND SECLUDED. WAS VISITED BY FRIENDLY KING PARROT AT BREAKFAST.

As we only stayed overnight,we did not have a chance to see...

As we only stayed overnight,we did not have a chance to see the surrounding countryside.We were surprised at the size of the area,considering we had driven the highway literally hundreds of time over the past 30 years.Relatively close to a good feed - the property is newish and very comfortable and as we arrived late on the day the Matildas played their World Cup epic game - the internet was down,but the owners kept us informed as to its reconnection - unnecessary but much appreciated.
