The location was lovely and quiet, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. We loved the balcony which overlooked the back area of the units, as we could sit quietly relaxing. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed a lovely dinner each night in the hotel which is very close. All staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

We came to Gynpie the night before and the night after...

We came to Gynpie the night before and the night after riding on the Mary Valley Rattler train which was a wonderful thing to do I did the VIP experience but my husband did the footplate experience where he got to go down in the engine room of the train and he loved it

Step back in time with a Steam Pulled train providing young...

Step back in time with a Steam Pulled train providing young and old with an exciting glimpse of the past. The restoration of the train and carriages has be phenomenal and the team / volunteers need to be acknowledged for the protecting part of Queensland's Heritage. Depending on your group you have a variety of ticket prices... bring you own food and drink or purchase onboard.

We spent the wknd in Gympie to ride the Mary Valley Rattler...

We spent the wknd in Gympie to ride the Mary Valley Rattler train with our train loving grandsons, they loved their return train experience travelling thru Gympie to Amamoor. Would certainly recommend this experience to others, the volunteer train staff were amazing, knowledgeable & helpful.

NO bus service on the weekends in Gympie!!

NO bus service on the weekends in Gympie!! I arrived on the train from Brisbane and ended up walking. I was able to get taxis but way more expensive than buses. The North Gympie train station is out of town and, because of the weekend, and no bus service, I had to take a $30 taxi from Gympie Muster to get there.

We have always driven through Gympie but came back to go on...

We have always driven through Gympie but came back to go on the Mary Valley rattler. We stayed just one night and realised how much there was to see in Gympie. We will be back for a longer stay next time.

Really lovely little motel.

Really lovely little motel. Parking available in front of room, clean and tidy with great work space & power point available for getting a bit of work done. Handy to have the microwave for late night meals.

Property was clean and spacious. Great off-street parking. The host/manager of the property was pleasant but kept returning to the property to chat after we had paid. However, she did give great advice on where to eat - The Phoenix Hotel! Delicious food and great service.
