There is a large shopping centre in Dalby and major stores like Woolworths and others within and nearby.

A big surprise. It was our first visit to Dalby.
A big surprise. It was our first visit to Dalby. We have driven through once years ago and thought it was just a one-horse town. To our surprise though, it was far more than that. We will certainly visit again in the future.

Dalby is a very clean town.
Dalby is a very clean town. Bigger than I expected with a nice picturesque walkway along the creek. The big park in town was undergoing Reno’s while we were there but it looks like it will look lovely once done. Plenty of shopping and dining choices. I liked Dalby.

Dalby is a fantastic country town with a welcoming atmosphere, beautiful parks, and a strong local community. Whether you're visiting for business, exploring the Western Downs, or just passing through, it's a great place to stop and unwind.
For accommodation, I highly recommend Kobbers Motor Inn. The rooms are modern, spacious, exceptionally clean, and the hospitality is genuine and welcoming. The attention to detail and friendly service make you feel right at home.
Don't miss dining at the Kobbers Restaurant & Bar. The food is outstanding, with delicious contemporary Australian cuisine, quality local produce, and excellent service. Whether you're staying overnight or simply looking for one of the best meals in Dalby, Kobbers is well worth a visit. It's easily one of the top places to stay and dine in Dalby.

Dalby has developed into an excellent rural tourist location...
Dalby has developed into an excellent rural tourist location. I was able to walk safely to the Leagues Club which had nice meals and drinks and where there was a decent local duo playing. I then walked to the Laneway Bar and Cafe which had very friendly management and staff, a fun crowd, and an awesome singer/guitarist performing! I enjoyed the Parkrun along Myall Creek on the Saturday morning and then had a scrumptious and nutritious breakfast at the Urban Paddock. I was also able to take a reasonably short drive to Bunya Mountains National Park and visit some waterfalls. Definitely recommend and I'll stay longer next time!

Great place to visit, easy to get around, great places to...
Great place to visit, easy to get around, great places to eat, a very good selection for all tastes, shopping was fantastic, a cross between a quiet mini city and a large country town. Plenty to see and events are often or just relax or take a walk by the river. Our first impression was the friendly, down to earth nature of the locals.

Amazing grounds, facilities, hosts, this isn't just somewhere to stay 'in Dalby' - you could happily stay here as a destination in its own right. You can be completely self-contained in your cabin and enjoy the gardens and facilities at your leisure. Great for a relaxing break in the country or for those working on a creative project that need some time out in the fresh air.

The owner allowed us to upgrade the room for free as it wasn’t peak time and he was just so nice . The pub is directly across the road and they will deliver to the hotel if you don’t feel like dining out
There is a free clean laundry for guests .
