The general tidyness and the gardens around Toowoomba.
The general tidyness and the gardens around Toowoomba. Love the tree lined streets and older homes. Certainly plenty of lovely cafe/restaurants to choose from.
Shopping was like the large Melbourne complexes. Convenient & Clean.

Carnival of Flowers is amazing - we love visiting the displays in Queen's Park and Picnic Point plus as many exhibition gardens and garden comp winners as we can fit in. The various flower shows and art/music programs in the churches are interesting too. Every year is different but always worth a visit. What's not to love about Toowoomba!

I often stay here for work when I'm in town, and usually book either Blue Heeler (single) or Billabong rooms (single or double donga). The modern dongas are perfect for single/couple travellers or workers. Reverse cycle aircon heating is great in winter! Staff are always so friendly & welcoming. Walking distance to the Federal Hotel & Queens Park, easy access to main roads & CBD. GREAT value for money, highly recommend!
The staff were welcoming, everything was easy, the rooms were spotless and everything you need was provided, kitchen items, sink, microwave, extremely comfortable beds! Air conditioning and ceiling fans - a favourite for me. It was a hotel where when I thought of something I needed - it was there - fabulous and I won’t stay anywhere else from now on when I visit Toowoomba.
Close to main facilities in a clean and comfortable environment especiallyfor the budget. Fiona is absolutely lovely. Will be using this hotel for future appointments in Toowoomba.
