Carnival of Flowers is amazing - we love visiting the displays in Queen's Park and Picnic Point plus as many exhibition gardens and garden comp winners as we can fit in. The various flower shows and art/music programs in the churches are interesting too. Every year is different but always worth a visit. What's not to love about Toowoomba!

Toowoomba is over-rated as a destination.
Toowoomba is over-rated as a destination. This is reflected in the tariffs one pays for food and accommodation. The place where we stayed, for example, needed renovating. Both my partner and I felt the room was over-priced.

A great country town.
A great country town. Very pretty, love the old houses, the parks and the climate in spring and summer. Has a special feel about it being at the top of the range. Go stay and explore, I'm sure that you'll enjoy.
New, modern, clean, great beds, spacious, self contained with great views of Toowoomba. Close to a bakery, Stellarosa coffee shop and shopping. We were delighted with the two bedroom apartment where every seat was comfortable and the pillows and mattresses were perfect. Lots of power points meant we had no trouble charging our phones.
The property was spotlessly clean and all beds very comfy. It was very central to Toowoomba cbd. The check in and out process worked really well. The hosts left extra treats for us to enjoy which was a lovely welcome gift. The hosts were very quick to answer any questions via email. We look forward to staying here again one day.
The hotel itself is beautiful. The ladies at check in desk helpful. The room was great and TV connects to my phone easily so we could watch Netflix etc The bar and restaurant underneath for dinner is great and location is perfect if you want a stroll around Toowoomba.
spacious interconnecting room, with balcony looking of Toowoomba cbd. Great breakfast and coffee in the on-site cafe. nice pool for a quick swim with the kids.
