Our room was recently refurbished so was clean and the furniture smart. The motel is on a large site so felt open and spacious and the rooms set back from the road. It's is handy to have restaurant facilities on site. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Location is fantastic as it is down the road, a short walk from the beach and shops.
There is a shared kitchen and resting area which is handy. This also room has a tiny balcony which was nice. Access and check in/check out was self.service and very convenient.

The Safari tent is very beautiful and right in front of the playground. The heater works well. The bed is comfy. All utensils in the kitchen are clean and useful. The bbq stove is exceed my expectation.
Such a beautiful, untouched island. Drop by Fairheaven if you're looking to escape from city life and go out for long hikes and listen to the sounds of nature and peace. If you've a mountain bike, bring it with you! If not, there's a general store you can rent bikes from or hitchhike or hike! This isn't an island where you might be expect to 'rough' it out at least a wee bit. The scenery and atmosphere is completely worth it though!
