Honestly, there was'nt a lot we liked at all. The bathroom was nice and modern however if you are over 5ft tall forget about having a shower. its positioned very low and it sprays everywhere, the whole bathroom got soaked in minutes.

It's right smack in the center of town. Quaint, lovely bar downstairs with big spacious rooms upstairs. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the beer was great! I especially loved the sours and the chocolate ale. Bar closes at a certain time, but the staff let us stay abit later, keeping the back door open for us to go up to our rooms. Bathrooms were heated and huge, and the showers had good strong water pressure. Good wifi too.

Everything in Gisborne closes fairly early but there are plenty of things to see and do and easy access to shops and supermarkets when they are open. Gisborne is also located within easy driving distance to some of Victorias best natural tourist attractions

Gisborne is a great place to stay if one wants to explore the region. The town itself is not particularly interesting and we liked only one walk to the Mount Gisborne although the entry to the reserve was rather difficult to find. The Gisborne Racecourse Marshlands Reserve was quite a disappointment for birdwatchers expecting to find some birds there or have a nice walk. Perhaps we have unfairly given up on further exploration.

Relaxing country town; excellent food, wineries, horse riding, bushwalking, beautiful views. Frequent train services to Melbourne, Bendigo and beyond. All within an arms reach of Melbourne and Tullarmarine Airport. You might even spot a kangaroo!

Gisborne is a lovely spot and some lovely locals we met, however you need to be forewarned that there is NO transport, no Ubers, no Taxis, this is something I didn't expect for a place only 50 mins from the City of Melbourne. Fortunately the pub locals put us onto some transport and they were a great help, far more helpful than the owner of our accommodation whom offered zip in the way of transport assistance. Telegraph Hotel very good, great staff, great local people, place to go.

The check-in even though we had a late arrival was flawless. The room/cabin was so nice and the view of the orchard was beathtaking. The breakfast items left for us was wonderful. Gisborne is a great little country town but growing rapidly.
Gisborne is a great little country town but growing rapidly. Probably you need transport from this accommodation to town. Everything available there though with still a small town feel. Restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, florists, chemists, wine shops, everything you should need really.

Peaceful. Fresh air. Greenery. We totally enjoyed our stay at the farm. It was country heaven. It's exactly like the photos. Better than staying in a hotel/ motel. Slept soundly on the comfy bed. Lynn was so lovely. The animals were wonderful. Monty, our dog, had the experience of his life. Surprise bonus - food/drinks in the fridge and cupboards, wine, snacks. Extras like that make the stay more special. Can't get better than that. Thank you for making our trip great.

Basic but a very clean, comfortable room and peaceful and convenient location. Fluffy white towels, good water pressure in shower, comfortable bed, air con worked well on a 33 degree day! Perfect place to stop over and wash off the days travel and a 5 min drive to town for dinner. Andrew the manager was helpful and easy going. A great place to stop over for a night if road tripping or for a few nights to explore the lovely area around Gisborne.

Only a stone throw from Gisborne and Bacchus Marsh with great facilities! Lovey fire place and bath in our room to keep warm. Beautiful view of the sheep grazing in the morning and through the day. Shared kitchen and living facilities but still spaced out enough to not know anyone else was there. Lovely decor and all ammenities provided. Super friendly owner!

Good communication prior to the visit. Easy check in process. Four stand alone villas, small but perfect for a couple. Breakfast was excellent. Gisborne is a nice town to visit as well.
