This place is absolutely from the fairytales and under priced. It’s for those who love to stay in nature. So many types of birds around on the porch or on the diverse garden plants and trees. Beautiful songs they sing. It’s on top of a hill overlooking farms and other wild hills and, on the other side, also on the town in the distance. At night the starts look at you from up close. There’s no light noise at all there. Moonrise, sunrise and sunsets are amazing! The host is super nice and interesting. Worth taking the time to befriend her. I saw my first Kangaroos from the yard, grazing and then jumping over a fence. It’s totally safe on this farm house. The house and room are well and creatively designed by the host. Super cool place!

Featuring free WiFi and free parking, Blazing Stump Motel & Suites offers 2 seasonal swimming pool, a gym, a sauna, tennis court and basketball court.

We had not received the code to get into the key box and walked around and found the proprietor at the back of the property late in the evening, and they were gracious kind and so helpful. They immediately got us a key and gave us milk for a coffee or tea in the morning and we’re genuinely happy that we found them and that we were staying there. The property was easy to find and the apartment that we stayed in had a parking spot right out front under cover and it was well appointedwith everything we needed to stay there for much longer than one night we were there. It was all updated and beautiful. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were enough pillows and covers whether you sleep hot or cold. I can’t say enough about how well appointed and beautiful this property was.

We had a very short visit to see our daughter so the location was ideal for us. The cabin was very clean and spacious. Definitely loved that there was an electric blanket and heater. The staff were very helpful and responsive to my emails/messages. We could see that there were activities but our stay was short so didnt utilise any of them.
