Members of my family and I have been staying at Ky Country Motel fairly regularly now for some years, and we now regard Karen and her family as friends. We often travel to Ky with family issues such as the bereavement of an older family member, and to describe Karen and team as supportive under these circumstances is an understatement. The rooms are always immaculate and fitted out well. Anything extra required such as milk or towels is never a problem. The fact that there are tables and chairs at the front of each room, and especially the barbecue area at the back of the property (complete with chooks), means that a stay at Ky Country motel doesn't require you to be 'stuck' in a motel room, but that you can enjoy the outdoors weather permitting. It's a great place for extended family to stay for this reason. There has never been an issue with unruly people staying in other rooms. Having stayed at a number of places at Ky over many years, I would not elect to stay anywhere else, and thoroughly recommend to anyone needing accommodation in Ky.

the communication with the host was excellent- very clear instructions re the key access, details on features of the home and how to use them ie security blind/shutters, heating and cooling, also clear instructions as what to do when upon leaving.It is not the Hilton but it was amazingly appointed- i would only suggest labelling the cupboards!!! so much kitchen storage. We will be back!
