I loved the welcome drink, easy parking, the very high ceilings and old style hotel with a basic but great size room and very comfortable bed. Was in great location with easy access to the beach and to the main town strip. Had a great pub attached and was awesome to be able to try tottis right there too.

Lovely surroundings. Proximity to ocean beach. Wild life, birds - except when Kookaburras took my chicken & salad roll from my hand while I was sitting on the veranda eating lunch & a Kookaburra attempted to take food from the side my husband 's mouth. Great being so close to the supermarket.

The house is spacious. We all love the carpet-covered staircase and the nice living room + dining room. View is perfect from the balcony. The bathtub is comfortable and big. Kids enjoyed it! The property is a bit aged but is lovely and overall clean. The path to the entrance is surrounded by different species of flowers.

Lorne is full of great easy walks along the sea front & there are more difficult ones into the bush as well. It has good shopping, plenty of restaurants cafes etc. Lovely Erskine falls to visit & Teddy's Lookout gives a great view of The Great Ocean Road. Plenty of seats along the sea front & different areas to sit & watch the sea.

Lorne is an absolutely beautiful place with plenty of places around about to visit and with plenty of places to eat. We had a fantastic time at the Erskine Falls and just exploring Lorne in general. Lots of birds which we like especially the Fairy Wrens.

It was a very easy 8 minute walk into Lorne from our apartment and we could walk along the boardwalk or take the street paths. The beaches were lovely and gorgeous views from our balcony. Lorne is a lovely place to stay, The beach is clean and good for swimming, and lovely to walk along in the evening. There are plenty of shops to look at, and a good variety of cafes, casual dining and restaurants to choose from. You can access all of Lorne without needing the car. There is a range of stunning walks that can be reached either by foot or by car, with a choice of difficulty ranging from stroller friendly to strenuous.AAnonymous
