Boasting a garden and free WiFi, On Obi Maleny is located in Maleny, 2.1 mi from Maleny Cheese Factory. Every room in this 3-star resort is fitted with a balcony with river views. my villa was very clean and comfortable and had everything I could possibly need, was very close to the main street of Maleny so could park my car and walk everywhere. The place had a self check in so didn't see any staff but Jodi always answered any messages I sent her promptly answering all questions. Was very quiet and relaxing, perfect getaway.

An extremely caring and friendly town. Crisp, mountain air. Stunning scenery. Good value for money bakery, cafes and restaurants (limited number). Lovely easy platypus board walk and rainforest walk at Mary Cairncross Reserve (short drive out of town, 15 mins )
Maleny is one of the gorgeous, mountain-top villages that travellers find hidden in the hinterland areas. There's a vibe of strong community, quaint and quirky shops and attractions with none of the big commercial operators. When you spend your tourist dollars here, you really feel that you are helping the "ordinary" locals. While it is a mountain area, the roads are all good (some steep ones). Driving the circuit around the area was great, and lunch at Kenilworth Dairy was a highlight. The walk down to the Kondalilla falls is a must, if you are reasonably able, and there are other lovely waterfalls to access more easily. Be prepared to stop everywhere and look at the interesting shops, views and houses.
Maleny has a great variety to offer, both in the township itself and in the surrounding community. There is a wide variety and range of arts, crafts, clothing and book shops in the town centre, as well numerous cafes. Mary Cairncross Park, only a few kilometres from Maleny, has an excellent visitor centre and cafe, as well as a very good graded walk through the rainforest.
We did the Obi Obi walk which we enjoyed also went to the botanical gardens. Visit the Barrel but wont do that again the food was cold when it came out. Maleny cheese factory was disappointing . Mary Cairncrossing walk is a must and eat at the cafe. Gardners Falls is also a good place to see and if you are game enough you can jump the falls and there is also a rope you can swing out on. Malney chocolate factory is a must. Montville is a must to see has so much character and so different than Maleny and only 15 k's away also the cafe at the chocolate place in Montville had good coffee and the scones are real and they use fresh cream. Every thing is so close you are not spending a day to get any where .
My husband and I recently had a holiday stay up at Maleny and we had a wonderful time! Our highlights and recommendations to go would be - Kondalilla Falls, Maleny dairies tour, Botanical gardens & bird world, maple 3 café Montville shops. We will definitely come back as soon as we can!
Lovely country township. Friendly people. Very laid back with shops to browse. Close to visit attractions.Hotel dinner was good. IGA and Woolworths for all your shopping needs. The stream winds around the town known to platypus
Cannot express how amazing this home was and how warm and welcoming both Patrick and Glenene were. Large spacious apartment with everything you need. Cute and cost outdoor fireplace. (And indoor) Welcome breakfast hamper with a bottle of wine! Beautiful grounds with trees and lots of birds. 2 mins from Brouhaha, 5 minutes to Maleny Cheese, 3 minutes from the main street and 15 minutes to Montville. Do yourself a favour and book this property.
David and Dean were fabulous hosts and the facilities were exceptional! Every detail at this BnB is thought out, from champagne on arrival, to a warming fire to relax by at night, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The bed was huge and comfortable and the room was very clean. The location is 10/10 for amazing views of the whole Sunshine Coast and Maleny valley and a relaxing peaceful atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again.
The location is absolutely amazing - the tranquility is overwhelmingly beautiful. The wild life and the setting of the cottages are absolutely amazing. We had a possum visit us at night and munching on some grapes and beautiful goanna came for daily check ins. The spa bath and fireplace are beautiful additions. The little tracks around to explore are perfectly kept and maintained. Overall a lovely setting and we had a fantastic time.
Beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Great location and facilities, short drive to the village & all top attractions in Maleny. Lovely house, very neat and clean, beautifully decorated! Plenty of space for our little family, loved spending our mornings on the porch. Well stocked kitchen and a Veg/GF option for breakfast. Very happy with our stay, felt like a home away from home, but with a better view!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Maleny Terrace Cottages. The owners Pauline and Craig were extremely friendly and welcoming. They also own Terrace seafood which is next door which you can either get room service or dine in. We did both and the food was just outstanding. Our weekend could not have been better and our room was very affordable.
The fireplace and the spa bath were the highlights! As there were not too many cottages, it felt very secluded and romantic. The homemade scones and cookies on arrival was a beautiful touch. The staff were so helpful and being greeted by Rusty the dog was lovely! Will 100% be back!
The location is perfect, good price, very friendly staffs. Really close distance to Maleny Manor. I love that the bathroom seems newly renovated. Clean bathroom is the best! also it has enough parking space for the guests.
Location in the heart of Maleny, but with secluded pool and bushland behind. Beautifully styled room. Very comfortable bed, fat pillows, gorgeous linen, deep clawfoot bath. Free access to streaming sites on the iPad.
Situated just across from the Sunday Markets & a very short walk to Maleny shops. Had an evening meal at the hotel, it was delicious & staff were attentive. Beer was nice & cold
Breakfast was good. The suite was spacious and comfortable. The ambience was pleasant. The view was pleasant. Peaceful and quiet. Large selection of DVD's. Hot showers were great.
The cabins were spacious and well appointed , we had family staying in the farmhouse so it was great to be able to wander down there for meals and coffee and catching up .

So peaceful, very beautiful, back to nature and simple. Wonderful places to walk and roam and the kids loved getting around on their bikes and we didn't have to worry about them.
