Offering an a la carte restaurant open every day for lunch and dinner, a bar and Sunday entertainment, Maleny Hotel is 1.15 hours from both Noosa and Brisbane. Loved the quiet of the upstairs balcony and it's outlook . Very basic room, no view, black-out windows, TV, make my own coffe/tea, a/c and fan, corner handbasin...quaint and very acceptable for a Hotel just over 100yo and in it's country location. Shared amenities, well, while you're using it, it's yours isn't it.😅 If there were any grouchy staff members, I didn't meet any! All very polite and helpful.
Spicers Tamarind Retreat & Spa is set on 18 acres of lush rainforest, where guests can enjoy a swimming pool with a heated spa, a restaurant and a day spa. Great customer service, the villa with hot tub was fantastic and quite isolated. Spa is amazing and really close by.
Tranquil Park is located on the southern escarpment of Queensland’s beautiful Blackall Range, with stunning views of the magnificent Glass House Mountains. The staff where really great and it was just a great experience to looking forward to visiting again down the track.
Maleny Tropical Retreat offers four types of accommodations including free-standing villa, semi-attached villa, cabin and bed and breakfast room in the main house. Stunning view (spent most of our time on the balcony or spa), very comfortable (hardish) bed, & great continental breakfast selection. Easy to find and very close to great restaurants.

The lush green rolling hills make Maleny a feast for the eyes. The mountain scenery is beautiful and the township has good cafes and shops. We love going to Mary Cairncross Park to walk through the rainforest and eat at the cafe. The Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird Park is also well worth a visit.
Maleny has stunning bush walks and country drives that differ greatly in a short distance. This rural treat is backed up with an equally stunning supply of quality food for both dine in, takeaway and cooking at the accommodation. The mountain air is so sweet and the views over the ocean are uplifting. It is a quite magical place when the tourist hordes are not right in your face.
It's a lovely rural town with a brilliant bakery and lots of other food options. Centrally located so an easy drive to places of interest like dairy, cheese factory, Montville, Mary Cairncross reserve, waterfalls etc.
Manley is a stunning little quiet town , stl hidden from the big city. You must have a car as there are hardly any taxis and no ubers there. However by the sounds alot of hotels and event spaces have curtsey buses which is good. A small little getaway is perfect here and many of our friends continued their stay with camping.
It is on top of the hill and view is spectacular. The room we stayed was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a good night's rest. Amazing collection of period furniture and other items. We could not stop taking photos. David, the owner, was so welcoming and very accommodating. If we have the opportunity we would come back and enjoy the place again.
Maleny is great for visitors young and old. We travelled from Brisbane and stopped at Aussie World theme park along the way, great for little kids. We went to Maleny Dairy which was great and the kids enjoyed bottle feeding the baby calves. We also took a trip to Wildlife HQ at Nambour, a small but exceptional zoo. Closer but more expensive is Australia Zoo, also great. We can also recommend Mary Cairncross park, Maleny Bird World and Botanic Gardens and all the wonderful shops and galleries in Maleny and Montville.
McCarthy Grove is centrally located, perfect for those attending weddings at one of the many famous venues around the magical town of Maleny. The house is HUGE, beautifully styled and very well appointed. We loved sitting on the verandah and around the awesome firepit overlooking the fruit trees which slope down to the creek which runs through the beautiful property. What else: comfy beds, big comfy couch and a big TV, easy lock box access, fresh Maleny Dairy milk in the fridge!! We will be back!! Thankyou Jessie and family.
A small number of cottages nestled among some colourful gardens and natural vegetation provides a quiet and relaxing atmosphere for a couple's retreat. The very generous breakfast hamper provided us with a range of essential items for a number of meals throughout our stay in the area. The large and comfortable bed, along with an extra large spa bath and cozy fireplace were highlight features of the cottage. The location was quite central to the interesting places in the region.
I stayed in a double with ensuite. I was unexpectedly surprised at how clean and comfortable this room was. I was just looking for a basic overnight stay the night before a trail event and really enjoyed having a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, fridge, kettle and access to Netflix on the smart TV. I ordered food from the restaurant and took it back to my room. Staff were lovely. There was no ‘pub noise’ - it was nice and quiet. It really was the perfect pre-race hotel experience.
Superb location in a quiet street close to town center. A few minutes walk to the local cafes, shops and supermarkets. Beautiful modern decor with many little touches to make it cosy. House is clean and well furnished just as pictured. We appreciated the good Wifi service as reception maybe spotty in the area. Host is very responsive and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend to those looking for getaway to explore Maleny
We absolutely loved the guesthouse and its idyllic setting. The hosts Glenene and Patrick were genuinely hospitable, friendly and generous. Not only was the bed extremely comfortable, the fireplace roaring and the guesthouse luxurious- but the extra little additions such as local produce for breakfast, friendly chickens and a parting gift of a CD of Patrick's favourite music made for a perfect stay.
The large, comfortable house had everything our family needed, and more, for a perfect weekend away. In a beautiful location away from it all and yet only 10 minutes from Maleny. The kids loved playing in the garden with the toys provided and feeding the friendly horses. The owner was quick to respond to all communications. We will recommend Maleny Springs to our friends and hope to return again soon.
wonderful quiet location in the bush, all you could hear were the birds, did some relaxing walks down to the creek. the studio felt like you were in a tree house. Steven was a wonderful friendly host who felt like an old friend. studio was spotless when we arrived- a great place to stay, we were very happy with the quality of the accommodation.
Loved the location of this retreat. Right in-between Maleny and Montville townships. Nestled amongst beautiful bushland, overlooking the mountains and valley alongside Lake Baroon was such a lovely way to spend 4 days. Cute little BnB with a spa bath overlooking the valley. Had lovely service from the owners too!
We had a wonderful time at Rosebrook Cottages for our first Anniversary! There were lots of thoughtful touches; from the breakfast supplies to the spa amenities & the 'mini bar' etc. The beds were comfortable & we didn't feel there was anything missing during our stay.
Everything. The goody basket left for breakfast. Good quality chattels, but most of all the cleanliness. The view and fresh air DIVINE. So close to Maleny main street and also to Montville. Just lovely and also the host she was amazing.
Location was great close to Maleny. Owners were friendly and very accommodating. Unit was clean, situated below the main house. Bird life was lovely in expansive garden. Lovely breakfast provided. Thank you.
Great customer service, the villa with hot tub was fantastic and quite isolated. Spa is amazing and really close by.
Spa with candles and bath gel was a nice bonus. Everything that we needed was provided, thoughtful hosts.
Plenty of room. Plenty if options to sit back and relax. House is well maintained.
Conveniently close to Maleny Manor and a 5 minute drive to the centre of town.
Wonderful view. Staff was lovely and accommodating. Spacious room.
We really have a excellent experience in Maleny and the accomodation was fantastic, the price is really good and it exceeded all our expectations.
The owner was very friendly and the cottage very cute decorated. I would come again.
BeautIful location perched on the top of the mountain.
The location was within a few minutes drive to Maleney, the breakfast was ample and appreciated the GF bread for my husband.
