Located on the Sapphire Coast, NRMA Merimbula Beach Holiday Park offers a swimming pool and free onsite parking. All accommodations offers cooking facilities. It's a fabulous place for a holiday, we stayed here for a week, we had 2 cabins. They are spotless as is all of the resort. Plenty for kids to do. Fabulous pool area and great water park. There is also a kids club with plenty of arts and crafts to do. Staff are happy to help and always have a smile. I would highly recommend this resort.

A winter (July) 2 night stay. Was expecting a deserted summer resort location (not catering to winter visitors so much) but was very pleasantly surprised at the views, serenity & welcoming nature of Merimbula. The 3.4k boardwalk was wonderful; alongside the oyster beds & through bush. Judging by the multitude of holiday accommodation there, I suspect that it must be a very busy place in peak season.
We love Merimbula for holidays it has everything you can wish for- no need for shopping centres as this would spoil the ambiance - Merimbula has a great variety of shops Great variety of eating venues to suit every budget
I last went to Merimbula 45 years ago ... quaint seaside town. Unfortunately a lot of restaurants were closed on Mondays and / or Tuesdays. (It is winter so do understand less visitors). Visit the Wheelers Oyster place.
Beaches, lakes, walks, fresh seafood. There are cafes, takeaways, clubs, shops and supermarkets. You can walk around town but a car would be required if you want to visit National Parks. There are tours available and an airport close to town. Check online as some places closed after covid or bushfires, flooding.
I love Merimbula and I am thinking of moving here! I didn't have any problems but one and that was a coffee shop I ordered an extra hot, hot chocolate and it was barely warm, for $5 it certainly wasn't even worth a $1. I ate beautiful fish from Merimbula Fish and Chips twice in 2 days, highly recommend a visit! Very easy to get around Merimbula and cannot wait to visit again or even move here permanently.
A lovely part of the coast and will definitely return. I’m not sure if it was because of school holidays or if it is always like this but I have say the amount of traffic was crazy. We spent a lot of time waiting at intersections. The town is not cut out for that amount of traffic.
Merimbula
The house is comfortable and well equipped. There are two decks with decent BBQs on each. We made good use of the games room upstairs, especially the pool table. Plenty of sports equipment supplied and lots of space out front. Very close to good MTB areas and to the National Park and Tura Beach. Steve made us feel welcome and checking in was very easy. Would visit again.
Merimbula
A fantastic location so close to the main shopping and spectacular 180 degree views over the harbour and more distant, the ocean. The apartment was very well equipped and lacked nothing. Overall it represented incredible value for money in comparison with many other holiday apartments I have stayed in over the past 25 years in Merimbula.
Merimbula
Very pet friendly - individual courtyards at the front of the unit and access to a large area for the dog to run around at the back were great. It would have been even better if the area was fully fenced, to avoid anxiety about the dog getting out. The facilities were roomy, clean and quality toiletries, tea/coffee.
Merimbula
The room was light, airy and quite spacious with loads of natural light, the king size bed was so comfortable, the small balcony overlooking the township of Merimbula and the sea beyond. Gorgeous sunrises over the ocean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, including the owner who we met on our last day.
Merimbula
The shops are close. The hotel had nice soaps, a good layout to get to reception, free parking, came with Netflix, the bed was fairly comfortable. I appreciated the place having aircon and a fan, water pressure and heat in the shower was good! I liked the contact less check in.
Merimbula
The place was fully self contained. It was in a villa/townhouse residential type complex. Great kitchen and having a laundry was a definite bonus. It was within walking distance to the Merimbula RSL Club, which was very popular and the food was great.

The manager, Matt was very helpful and very courteous and friendly. Nothing was too much to do. The location was great and very quiet and relaxing. We would definitely consider staying at Lakeside Holiday Apartments Merimbula again.
