Located on the Western Australian coastline within the beautiful shores of Shark Bay, RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort offers beachfront accommodations. The children loved to see the dolphins and the interaction with it near the shore. The staff are nice and the area is clean and comfortable.
Featuring an year-round outdoor pool, Bay Lodge in Denham has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. We were originally staying in one of the back rooms but when we arrived we found out we were upgraded to an ocean front room for free. The location was excellent and we were very happy with our room.
With stunning ocean views from your private patio, Shark Bay Seafront Apartments is located directly opposite Denham beach. Guest can enjoy free Wi-Fi, free BBQ facilities and free parking. I rarely write reviews unless the experience was great or terrible. This was truly great. The owners not only were available to provide friendly advice on anything and everything, but also were soooo helpful in time of need. Out car had a puncture that needed repair...on a weekend and far from any metropolitan area. They quickly located a tyre shop that was open and soon we were back on the road ready to continue our touring. What could have been a disastrous weekend was saved by their selfless help. Thank you 🙏 every memorable aspect of our stay!
Set just 164 ft from the beach, Wildsights Villas is a 5-minute drive from Shark Bay Airport and a 15-minute drive from the Monkey Mia Reserve. The room was a good size for the two of us. It was nice and clean and the location was great. Thanks so much for the Sunset cruise....we really enjoyed it.
The dolphins are amazing, the beach is clean and long and the staff are very good at looking after the dolphins and minimising the damaging effects of people, while giving people a chance to see and interact with them. The facilities here are expensive though.
Too expensive, over rated. Use the bar area for food as restaurant costly, especially if more than 2 persons in family. Pool unheated. No person on entering ground to help with park fees - only a box with paperwork and slot for info and money details. For the cost you expect a little more interaction.
Great stay. It was worth going to this resort. We had a room with superior view so could see dolphins and other animals every morning from our balcony. Otherwise there were big spaces between the wooden planks on the balcony so we could see and hear our neighbors below as they could us. Had to be careful while walking not to put sand or dirt on their breakfast below. People were very respectful so no noise problems. No heating isolation either so very hot if you don’t put the air conditioning.
Beautiful place. Plenty of water activities, short sailing cruises, or kick back on the beach or by the pool and relax, just loved it. I'd recommend you drive there as there are lots of places to stop and see on the way that you'll see no where else in the world, like the Stromatolites, Shell beach, etc. Oh yeah, and the dolphins, big standout. Food was average, as the main restaurant was only partially open due to kitchen renovations. The monkey bar located in the same facility serves pizza and other basic fare as well as a decent range of beer. Otherwise if you're organised, there's a shared kitchen at the caravan park/resort with BBQs and good facilities. Also a shop on site with nice range of staple cooking ingredients plus some nice suprises I didn't expect them to be selling, all reasonable prices too. Big mention goes to the sailing/cruise guys on the Shotover. Afternoon cruise out spotting dugong, turtles, dolphins, and another cruise with their late arvo "Sunset Cruise", where you can take along a couple of cold bevies and relax. Any main supplies you can't get at Monkey Mia, or for something different, then Denham is only about 20mins away.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay, but if you stay in the units, don't be downstairs because the gaps in the veranda boards above you are too wide and you can see easily through them, not to metions sand and sea water coming down from above after a swim..... Lots of dolphins!
You can see dolphins, pelicans and turtles just walking along the beach. The Shotover boat trip was great fun, nice bunch of people and Adam and Quinn were great hosts. We ate at the hotel's restaurant and drank at the Monkey Bar. There's a campsite next door to the hotel, as it's a resort catering to backpackers, families, honeymooners... It's functional and friendly, not at all pretentious. The scenic flight was absolutely spectacular, among the best excursions I've ever done.

Very comfy and clean. Well located. Dolphins are incredible and they can be found during all day in shallow water just in front of the hotel. Great experience!
