Offering barbecue facilities and river view, Shack built over the Murray River is located in Murray Bridge, 7.3 miles from Riverglen Marina and 10 miles from Monarto Zoo. We spent most of our time out on the back deck over the water. The kids loved watching the ducks, swans, pelicans and fish swim straight up to them. We loved absolutely everything about our stay.
Located 6 miles from Monarto Zoo, Murray Bridge Tourist Park offers a garden, a shared lounge and air-conditioned accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. Location was quiet. Unit was clean, comfortable with lots of room. Loved the coffee machine.
This is city luxury in the country, almost! Everything that could possibly be done to ensure that our stay was pleasant, comfortable and relaxed was done, and also appreciated. The hotel is near the CBD of Murray Bridge, close to most facilities, though to be fair, many of the river attractions had to be closed because of the flooding. But just to be able to view that was awe inspiring.
We had a 3-hour lunch river cruise on Captain Proud paddle boat. It was very relaxing and enjoyable being on the River Murray. Plenty of shopping centres to check out with major supermarkets in town. A good variety of eating places as well.
We were there for the Country Music Festival, the venue at the riverside park was very easy to get to with lots of parking spaces. Being a large town there were all the usual shopping facilities plus medical resources should they be required. As our stay was short we did not have time to explore.
Convenient location to do the paddle boat on the Murray river trip. Their is a great Indian restaurant in the main street, Bombay Beat, which has great food, service and value for money. Highly recommended. Murray Bridge hotel serves up a nice beer as well.
We had a great time there. But we were disappointed the pool closed early, just before 6.00pm. We went to the restaurant for a meal and we were told there was only room in the lounge area for meals. The tables that were there were far too low to eat from. We went back to the bar and told the waitress about the tables, so she found us a table for two in the restaurant. The meals were excellent!
Loved Murray Bridge. People were friendly and helpful. Quiet and relaxing and easy access to other towns on the river and Coorong area. Really would like to have stayed longer and see towns up river. Will be back for sure.
Lovely , very friendly and approachle staff, Steff was amazing, the B&B is exceptionally an amzing work of art , creativity, passion and a very homely experience. All amenties were clean, comfortable, full of character and just a credit to the Steff and Rob. The location was ideal for as walking and especailly along the river was perfect, the town of Murray Bridge has lots to offer and is often overlooked. The continental breafast was outstanding, loved hearing all about the garden and decorations.
happy with the room.a couple of take away shops nearby for food that we were able to walk to,nearest restaurants are in town centre so have to drive to them, otherwise stay was uneventful/good
