Pamula Beach is gorgeous as is the Pamela River. The small size of the village means you can walk everywhere and it is nice and quiet. Ben Boyd National Park is just the other side of the river (a 15 min drive around or you can swim across the river on a calm day when the tide is low). The kangaroos everywhere (even directing traffic) were fantastic
Great environment - if you want a quiet getaway in the middle of a fascinating environment: multi coloured rocks; lots of wildlife including whales and dolphins; indigenous sites; beach and river swimming; lots of national park tracks to explore
