Absolutely picturesque location. We had breakfast at the restaurant and the view at the lake was so lovely. The furnishings in the room were relatively new, and the cabin looks well maintained.

We stayed at the Homestead. This is a stunning home with 5 ensuites bathrooms, a fireplace, full kitchen, decks and stunning scenery. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The wine tasting at Ampersand was our favourite in the Margaret River/ Pemberton region.

Very small place, blink and you will miss it.

Very small place, blink and you will miss it. Was the perfect getaway for peace and tranquility. Sparsely populated, no traffic, no light or noise pollution. Exactly what we wanted to unwind. Also great for a four legged companion. Karri Lake and Brook Dam were the highlight walks for us, amazing scenery, flora and fauna. Southern Chocolate Company kept us stocked up with goodies, the supplied the morning coffee which was excellent. Kate, Jess and the rest of the staff were nothing short of exceptional. After that, Pemberton or Nannup are the closest population centres for food, supplies, entertainment etc. Nothing other than a car will suffice.
