This renovated cottage is located just 1640 feet from the beach and is a short walk from the main street where you can find cafes, restaurants and shops. It’s a cosy cottage that gave us such a relaxing weekend. It was clean and comfortable, and offered so much more than we expected.

I'm a regular in Queenscliff. Love the atmosphere, the friendly people and the beauty of the town. Getting around is easy as most shops and cafes are on the main street or just near it. There is another waterfront area, which is about an eight minute walk. Lovely areas overlooking the beach to picnic.
Beautiful little seaside town, great views of the heads, beaches with walks, riding, small shops and excellent food options. A huge variety of accommodation to suit all budgets and things to do nearby for kids and adults alike.
Car show weekend is always fun lovely places to dine. Was taken back by 2 Shops going off at me for only having $50 notes on fridaysfternoon.I would have thought they'd be prepared for the massive crowds that come there each year!!! Ordering 1 coffee after just going to ATM getting $300 out I only had $50 notes .. OMG the lady was so rude about only having $50 notes..... didnt go back there again and won't ever in the years to come!!! Other than that it is a beautiful town lovely shops.
Love being close to the sea. Weather was not kind however. Day trip by Ferry to Sorrento enjoyable. Bit of therapeutic shopping in Queenscliff also enjoyable. My husband did a successful mornings fishing trip.
Queenscliff is the place to catch the ferry over to Sorrento. It has a heritage railway that runs up to Drysdale on weekends. It is also the start of the excellent rail trail to Geelong. It is a very nice quiet little seaside town, not too far from Melbourne. We had a nice meal at the Bowling Club overlooking the heads.
Plenty of food shops. Attractions are good, scenery is great. Ferry across to Sorrento is great..maybe a little expensive. Heritage train ride is expensive. The fort is excellent, Point Lonsdale is lovely...terrific views across the Rip. Pity the shops are closed in the evenings (except Fri and Sat) had to drive to Queenscliff to get dinner.
We have traveled the world and stayed in some amazing places but this property would have to be one of the best. BayView House is a beautifully designed and peaceful townhouse with stunning interior decoration and fantastic views. It is situated right on the main street of beautiful Queenscliff with many restaurants, cafes and shops to explore. The pantry was well stocked and the kitchen was very well equipped for those times when you don't want to eat out. I would have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful property.

We stayed in one of the tower rooms - very spacious and comfortable, with good open views towards the bay and pleasant sea breezes. The staff were accommodating over Christmas - providing a breakfast platter in-room for Christmas morning and an optional charcuterie and cheese board for the evening (on advice that local restaurants would be closed). We also chose to book the hotel's Christmas day lunch and enjoyed the food and attentive service. A buffet breakfast was available on other days. Would stay again.
