Vue Grand is an award-winning boutique hotel set in a heritage-listed 100-year-old building. The Rooftop Bar provides amazing panoramic views of Queenscliff. The old school charm and the generally feel of the hotel was brilliant! The staff were great, the owner was very accommodating. We came on a couples retreat and felt very welcome, whilst also being given plenty of privacy and any information we wanted was right there on request, or pre prepared in a welcome guide! Highly recommend.
Located in Queenscliff, less than 0.6 mi from Queenscliff Harbor, Athelstane House features accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The reception lady was extremely friendly and helpful. She definitely made the stay more pleasant.
Featuring a shared lounge as well as a garden, Benambra Bed & Breakfast is located in Queenscliff, within 2297 feet of Queenscliff Harbor and 12 mi of Fort Pearce. Loved the atmosphere and the charm of Benambra. Hosts Geoff and Anne were friendly and welcoming. The cooked breakfast and old world charm in exquisite settings were just what we needed. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.
Queenscliff was beautiful and many good cafes and shops open despite Covid lockdown. Our guest house was very central so we were able to enjoy walking around the historic streets and lovely grand old guesthouses, It was also close to the beach where we walked on the sand and paddled in the sea. Continued on to the Marina to see a giant ray and a seal., amongst the luxury boats. Locals were friendly and excellent coffee to be had.
Very cute town, lots of lovely houses, nice beaches and several nice nearby towns to visit. Very quiet in the evenings - not a lot of places to eat (even on a Saturday night - strongly recommend making a booking somewhere in advance!).
Lovely historic town within an easy drive from Melbourne. Lots of choice for dining. Our favourite eating place was Salt Bush. The Bowling Club had amazing views and wholesome food. Make sure you visit the Maritime Museum, it had so much history, photos and artifacts about the area. The shopkeepers were very friendly and helpful, especially the ladies as the Information Centre.
Queenscliff is a very quiet seaside town. There are only a couple of galleries, and a few shops to browse. There are a few cafes. We had breakfast in Yard 58 and the shelter shed. Both were good. We also had a meal at the brewhouse, and that was excellent. The meal we had at the Vu Grande was disappointing. Walking around Queenscliff is easy and the park by the sea is beautiful. I would definitely choose different acommodation if we were to stay there again.
Loved the lighthouses, the Maritime Museum, the cycle/walking track, the Brewhouse & wineries. Also the history of the whole area. We liked being able to drive to other locations not too far away. Best meals by far were at the Queenscliff Brewhouse & Barwon Heads At The Heads restaurant.
The people were friendly. The cafes, restaurants and good shopping. The historical buildings and places to visit. The beautiful views, the wineries in the area, walking tracks and so many others things to explore. The Queencliff Bowling Club staff were friendly, had an extensive meal selection and the service was excellent.
We really liked how easy it was staying there. We had an activity on the following day and wanted to break up the trip to Queenscliff so not driving up and back in one day. We cooked dinner in the cottage and breakfast was supplied. The heater was on for us so nice and warm. The bed was very comfortable - I slept the best I have in a long time. The owners are lovely and contacted us before our arrival to ask what type of milk and bread we eat. Would definitely stay there again if the need arises!
Great location on the main street in walking distance of all main sights. Nice to be able to stay in an historic hotel. The cooked buffet breakfast was good (we were there for a Sunday morning and a Monday public holiday morning - we'd read that other mornings there is a continental breakfast). The staff were welcoming and accommodating of requests (e.g., resolving a problem with our television set).
An excellent positioned property with a lot of charm. Everything we needed was there on hand, such a shame the Queenscliff Fort and Black Lighthouse hadn’t reopened due to Covid 19. The owner was extremely friendly and gave us a rundown of the house history etc 20m off the Main Street awesome position in the town centre. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
Was in a balcony room. Large, clean and modernised enough while still keeping the charm of the old building. Big bath and good water pressure. Great location on the Main Street, close to beach and hotel staff were terrific. Would stay again.
The resort is well located, easy to get to Point Lonsdale or Queenscliff. Staff very friendly, we appreciate that they did their best to accommodate to our needs. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. Great place to stay!
The cottage was bigger than we thought, had a few nice touches like little nibbles and fresh flowers on arrival and the fact we could have our small dog there was great. A few lovely days in Queenscliff.
The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed and was only a short walk from the shops. Queenscliff is a lovely little seaside town that we would love to visit again.
Quiet, central, clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast. No stairs to our room. Only tv reception not really good enough. Or is that Queenscliff . We’ll be back
Great location, easy walking distance to most of Queenscliff's shops and cafes. Communication from hosts came promptly and everything was well explained.
Wonderful stay at the Salt Loft. It had everything we needed! Right in heart of Queenscliff, yet private and quiet!
Plenty of cafes in Queenscliff and surrounding areas. People very friendly.
