Located in quiet area within Queenscliff, Salt Loft is a self-catering accommodations with free WiFi and glimpses of Swan Bay. Salt Loft exceeds expectations, it's tucked away on the main street of Queenscliff but you wouldn't know it because it's so secluded, quiet and well looked after. All of the finishes, fixtures and fittings were incredibly high end (Sheraton beach towels were a nice touch!) and the welcome bottle of sherry and hamper of goodies was a beautiful touch. The gigantic bathtub and fully equipped kitchen were well used during out stay and I've already started recommending the property to friends and family.

Located in Queenscliff in the Victoria region, Twomey's Cottage has a patio. Location was exceptional and hosts were fabulous
Queenscliff is a lovely town which has managed to preserve the historic streetscape. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. We visited local art galleries and shops, walked to the wharf area and up the observation tower, walked around town, watched a lovely sunset over Swan Bay. We visited the Sunday morning market - lots of yummy things to eat plus honey, jewellery, ceramics etc. Good range of cafes and restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed walks in the Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale areas. We'll be going back!
Queenscliff was beautiful and many good cafes and shops open despite Covid lockdown. Our guest house was very central so we were able to enjoy walking around the historic streets and lovely grand old guesthouses, It was also close to the beach where we walked on the sand and paddled in the sea. Continued on to the Marina to see a giant ray and a seal., amongst the luxury boats. Locals were friendly and excellent coffee to be had.
Very cute town, lots of lovely houses, nice beaches and several nice nearby towns to visit. Very quiet in the evenings - not a lot of places to eat (even on a Saturday night - strongly recommend making a booking somewhere in advance!).
Lovely historic town within an easy drive from Melbourne. Lots of choice for dining. Our favourite eating place was Salt Bush. The Bowling Club had amazing views and wholesome food. Make sure you visit the Maritime Museum, it had so much history, photos and artifacts about the area. The shopkeepers were very friendly and helpful, especially the ladies as the Information Centre.
Queenscliff is a very quiet seaside town. There are only a couple of galleries, and a few shops to browse. There are a few cafes. We had breakfast in Yard 58 and the shelter shed. Both were good. We also had a meal at the brewhouse, and that was excellent. The meal we had at the Vu Grande was disappointing. Walking around Queenscliff is easy and the park by the sea is beautiful. I would definitely choose different acommodation if we were to stay there again.
Loved the lighthouses, the Maritime Museum, the cycle/walking track, the Brewhouse & wineries. Also the history of the whole area. We liked being able to drive to other locations not too far away. Best meals by far were at the Queenscliff Brewhouse & Barwon Heads At The Heads restaurant.
Queenscliff
We really liked how easy it was staying there. We had an activity on the following day and wanted to break up the trip to Queenscliff so not driving up and back in one day. We cooked dinner in the cottage and breakfast was supplied. The heater was on for us so nice and warm. The bed was very comfortable - I slept the best I have in a long time. The owners are lovely and contacted us before our arrival to ask what type of milk and bread we eat. Would definitely stay there again if the need arises!
Queenscliff
Location is excellent, beautiful view from the balcony of the Royal Queenscliff Hotel, 5 min walk to the beach, close to town centre (10 min walk). The house is very clean, and with all amenities there, very convenient. Good to have a lock up garage. Nice courtyard, quiet and private. House interior deco is charming and welcoming.

Location, location, location. Very centrally located in Queenscliff and close to everything. I liked having a balcony and a door and window that opened. The room was spacious. The grounds were nice and the shared lounge was lovely.

I chose Swansong because once up the front stairs, inside is all on one level which was important for my elderly mother. The position was excellent with lovely views and very close to all Queenscliff has to offer.

The cottage was bigger than we thought, had a few nice touches like little nibbles and fresh flowers on arrival and the fact we could have our small dog there was great. A few lovely days in Queenscliff.
