Hotel Renmark was a one night stop for me after camping at Mungo and it exceeded all my expectations. Enjoyed a wonderful sunset and sunrise overlooking the might Murray. The birdlife was amazing as was my stay in this iconic hotel. Lucked out on Sunday and did a paddle steamer cruise on the PS Industry which was amazing. Plenty to see and do in the area but I simply didn't have the time so will have to return and stay for longer. The hotels museum was so tastefully done and I thoroughly recommend a visit. The Visitor Information Centre is the best place to visit to get information about Wineries/Breweries, walking trails, museums and also what is in other towns nearby. Very Friendly, helpful lady asked us a few questions about our preferences and then gave us a very handy information sheet and booklet. The waking paths along the riverfront are wonderful. I really enjoyed walking around the small quaint town of Renmark. I planned just a short trip and that was satisfactory for me. The bakery was my highlight and the fish shop that had the most amazing fresh fish and chips and salad. Walking around the riverside was special and I also enjoyed that. However, the town did close a bit to early for dinner. Everything shuts at 20:00 so be mindful of this as you will only get sandwiches and salads after this time or fast food.Guest review byCarolineAustralia
