The Entrance is an under-utilised gem.
The Entrance is an under-utilised gem. The precinct could use some modernisation but that is gradually happening. There lovely walks around the park and lots of play activities for children. Lots of places to eat and really excellent fish and chips!

The Entrance is a beautiful place. Great in summer but we visited in winter so could not swim. Lovely drives and vistas.
We visited to have family come to have a meal and see great grandchildren.
Visit Norah Head Lighthouse for fantastic views.

It was at beautiful location.
It was at beautiful location. We checked in late and was not able to enjoy much. Clear night sky, with oceans sound was so relaxing and beautiful. Next morning it’s beautiful view to enjoy sunrise with cup of coffee from your balcony. I can say it’s beautiful holiday stay, I would love to come back and stay at same place again.

This area is relaxing and a good base for a holiday on the coast north of Sydney which is less than 2 hours drive south of The Entrance. The railway line is 20 km away so a car is required.Eating was a little disappointing. Most restaurants were quiet. The area has a bit of a retro feel with the entertainment area on the Lakeside with ferris wheel , dodgem cars and rides and an abundance of Lolly shops.

The Entrance is a beautiful place with lovely views and local people. There are great shops to walk along and browse and plenty of options for something to eat and drink. There's a great children's playground and a water park feature also. There is also timed sessions for Pelican feedings. Definitely recommend The Entrance, it is a great family friendly place to stay.

This beachside town has suffered similarly to many others in the off tourist season with many premises being closed down, dirty streets and hoodlum car operators driving around. Whilst we were able to enjoy some good service from eateries attended the general feel of the town is not overly pleasant, possibly added to by not so great weather during our visit.
Having read previous critical reviews I was a little apprehensive about booking. Whilst it is obvious that the repair of the property has declined over time it was obvious that work was underway to address this.
The inside of the property was freshly painted and my room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable.
The beauty and spa place was fantastic - they were very accommodating and everyone loved it. The food and drinks were great but more on the snack menu would be good. More things that you could have as a meal, not just as a snack.
