Eupen is a nice place to visit for an afternoon or a day.
Eupen is a nice place to visit for an afternoon or a day. The town is clean and the buildings are an interesting mix of old and new, with some interesting historical spots.
I enjoyed the audio guide at the city museum, and the detail it went through explaining the cloth industry in Eupen.
However, the choice of restaurants seems a bit weird. Mainly a bunch of Italian restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay in Evelyne & Andy their beautiful renovated house.
We appreciated the most the silence, the sound of the river at night, the walks you can start just opposite the house.
Everything is their for cooking. And if the wether is bad, there are a lot of boardgames.
Eupen is a nice and interesting little town.
Evelyne and Andy are great hosts.
We definitely come back.

It's 15 minute walk into the Town of Eupen. There is a Bakery 30 seconds from our door. It's super clean and bedrooms are separate from main floor so if you have a night owl, being quiet is easy. Very compact space but super functional. Situated by the river, which is a nice feature and on the nice days.
