Very charming resort! Rooms are are so beautiful, comfy and the mid century decor is a plus! Facilities are great too! We used the pool, hot tube and the beach! That counts with kayaks and canoes to paddle on the lake! The restaurant in the property is a plus too, we had a great time for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Food is delicious and be able to seat on the patio overlooking the lake is just gorgeous! The staff is very friendly and so helpful! We travelled with our dog and he also had a great time! The resort grounds are great for walks! We also had lots of fun playing basketball! What a great stay!

Staff were helpful and courteous. The view from our room (we were given an apt with separate bedroom) of Lake Bernard was breath-taking. We had a patio walkout The room was austere but functional with a fine frig (with working mini-freezer) and 2-cup coffee maker. The TV was gigantic with an amazing plethora of channels. The local (busy!) pizza place is almost attached to the building. A breakfast restaurant or grocery store (FOODLAND) is a 5-minute drive. SUNDRIDGE is a quiet, sleepy town--crossing the street, I only had to wait once for a passing car. Caswell offers excellent WI-FI.

This was a great stop during our trip. Owner was super nice and helpful. And he makes a great, hearty breakfast in the morning at the cafe.
