A perfect 10! Adelboden is in a most peaceful & serene valley with many activities & viewpoints to enjoy. Yet, it is not over-run with tourists. A respectful, kind & friendly atmosphere prevails. Staff is always there to serve you. Enjoy a fabulous breakfast & quality dinner choices. What a pleasure to return to the Adler after a day’s activities & hit the sauna or whirlpools, then a relaxing swim before dinner. This is a real vacation in my opinion. I am longing to return already!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Des Alpes in Adelboden. The hotel was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The highlight was definitely the stunning view of the mountains—absolutely breathtaking! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything was well taken care of. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again.

half board was included. the meals were excellent with a good variety of choices. breakfast was buffet. dinner was served from a menu with excellent choices and quality location was perfect for delivering the kids to ski school on time. there was also a fabulous fondue dining experience available in the igloo next door and also a sauna for apres ski.

Hotel Bristol is a perfect hotel for a countryside getaway in the Alps. It is centrally located in Adelboden, very close to one of the ski lifts (5 min walking distance), and just a few minutes from the main street. The hotel is facing west side and you have beautiful views overlooking the mountains. From the top floor you can see Engstligenfälle, a gorgeous waterfall located just 5km from the city center. The hotel is very charming, it is an older building, but very well maintained, with all modern amenities. The hotel staff is very kind and informative. The breakfast is great, and the kitchen and restaurant staff is very hospitable too. Overall our stay was fantastic, and Adelboden is a perfect location from where you can even drive to visit other attractions in the area.

The staff were so kind and showed us around the hotel and to our room during check in. The pool, restaurant, room service and breakfast were on point! The view is just amazing and staff were super helpful at recommending some great trails! The location is ideal if you just want to walk around town or go hiking. Adelboden did not feel so full of tourist which was nice if you are really looking to get some R&R. Putting my name on the TV during check into our room was a nice little touch. Well worth the stay.

    This is my 3rd trip to Adelboden, We, as a family, really enjoy the Trotti bikes and the natural beauty of this region. Food is great. We had a car to get around hence it was easy. It is a must-travel place :-)

    Was great to go back to visit. Lots to see and do: Cablecars to Sillerenbuhl, Engstligenalp, Tuschenten. Walk to woodcarvers. Walk to the Engstligen waterfall. Take cable car to the top and walk down to Under Den Birg. Swim in the outdoor pool for free. Take the free local bus (using guest card) and travel to Kandersteg. Food was expensive but there is variety: Kiosk Treff (take away) along Main Street. Pizza/Kebab- near CoOp Lots of restaurants in village- just check for which days they close.

    I adore the little village with its hills and mountains, the easy-going but sporty atmosphere, the cheese shop and the necessary sport shops. The m'as-tu vu clientèle (I have nothing against at) need to find another destination, though.

    If you love nature this is the best place especially the mountains, river and waterfalls! If you love mountains it’s the place. It is the place to walk ,hike and I saw people on bike-cycle. Driving to Adelboden if I will compare the roads with Dubai is so narrow and some places you have to drive carefully specially with the turns on the mountain. Be cautious with the speed limit as some places will be 30km/hr!

    this presents as an entity but really it is not professional at all - there I no name board and is not known to local taxi drivers The kitchen would seem from another century. No microwave in particular, a nescafe machine maybe, but only two capsules seems mean indeed for the price that I'm paying for staying here. It feels like you've just thrown in old furniture from somewhere else. Strange zebra skin seat, strange cubicle seats, and a CD player from a different generation that clutters the bedside.. I do not find it all functional or restful. It is basic at best. I'm not at all sure why you think that one pillow is enough for one person but perhaps that is your view of how things are. You asked for a removal of the shoes and I understand that, but the carpet itself seems cheap and worn. In short, I did not feel that this property is as you represent is certainly not value for money. I say this from the advantage point of having been in Adelboden since Thursday last. . I stayed in an excellent hotel on arrival, the Chalet Hotel Beau Site, which I felt was excellent value for money and exceeded my expectations at every level, including having mountain views from a salubrious balcony.

    Adelboden is a beautiful little mountain town where anything is possible with decent prices. The old chalets or cottages are worth a visit even if they are not as numerous as beforehand. One of my favorite spots there was unten dem Birg.

    We had booked the studio apartment which was very nice. It has a reserved parking space very close by, albeit at an extra cost. Breakfast was great and the hotel restaurant is also very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially as Swiss-German is not our first language.

    Spacious, clean, modern ground floor apartment with good parking. Good kitchen facilities. Super powerful shower which was appreciated after a long day in the mountains. Out of the town centre but easy to find and only 5 minutes from a supermarket. Very friendly and helpful owner.
