United KingdomThe location was perfect for us. Really close to the bus stop and Interlaken. Our hosts were amazing and made our stay very special. The breakfast was great, we particularly enjoyed the fresh bread and the delicious cheese! A rather nice touch was the little bag outside our room which had a different treat in it each day! Also our hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and recommended beautiful places to visit and things to do, such as the mountain party! Thanks to Dani we were able to take the car train from Kandersteg in order to cross into the Valais region! We will definitely go back and stay there! Eric the cat and Heidi the dog were gorgeous!

SwitzerlandMy family and I believe every aspect of this property was top notch. Only learned of the access once we booked. Over all it was a 10 out of 10 for us. Dinner was unbelievable and the breakfast was even better. Way to go staff, just awesome.

GermanyNice location. I was traveling for work to the Beatenberg area. The area was alittle remote but nice views of the Swiss Alps. The heating, hot water and appliances were all working. So, we were comfortable. The apartment was clean. The designated parking space worked well. The apartment had brooms and a vacuum which were a plus for a 5 day stay. Cushions for the furniture on the porch were also provided. Soap, shampoo and towels were provided. Sheets and pillows cases were nice. Wifi worked well and had password protection.

There isn't very much in Beatenberg, but you use it to get away from crowds in Interlaken itself, and as a jumping off point to visit other places. It has good bus connectivity with Interlaken and other places, including the St Beatus caves. There is also an amazing restaurant called "Gasthaus Riedboden" if you take a 10-15 minute walk up the hill.

Beatenberg is a very beautiful place, Its bit away from the Interlaken city Centre. Ideal for nature lovers who want a quiet holiday and appreciate nature. If someone likes the crowds then Interlaken is the place to stay.

Our trip to Beatenberg was absolutely perfect, and honestly, it felt far too short! Traveling with young children can be a challenge, but this destination made it seamless.
The highlights for us were definitely the wellness and dining options. The sauna and spa facilities provided a world-class relaxation experience after a day of exploring. When it comes to food, the restaurant served gourmet-level meals that impressed us every night. The breakfast was equally exceptional—an extensive, high-quality spread that was the perfect start to our mornings.
Getting around was easy, and the views of the Alps are unbeatable. We highly recommend visiting the Beatus Cave and taking the funicular up the Niederhorn—both are fantastic for kids. We can't wait to come back!"

Big dissapointmnet was i left an airpillow in the room and asked them to mail it back to me. They agreed for a fee which i duly wired and paid but never receive the pillow

We heard that Beatenberg is the "longest" town in...
We heard that Beatenberg is the "longest" town in Switzerland. There are 11 stops made by bus 101. We wanted to not be in the midst of the hustle/bustle of Interlaken and Beatenberg and Hotel Gloria supposed our expectations in quiet environment, awesome views of Lake Thun and exceptional friendly service staff.

The views were amazing, the staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was perfect. The breakfast was spectacular, the room, the food the service. The only thing we were disappointed with was the dinner. Very overpriced for the quality of food and service. Our kids' schnitzel was so yellow and my dinner came 15 mins after everyone else's, so everyone was already done by the time I got my food.

The apartment has everything a family needs to stay for 4-5 days. At first, we thought it might be too long to do a shuttle everyday to interlaken, but it turns out to be very relaxing as the view on the way worths a million. It was a pleasant stay here and in Beatenberg. Sandra and David, the host, were ready to assist.

Our toilet broke down and we had to shift rooms . The staff were very helpful to make the move easy
could not have chosen a better property considering our need for a kitchen which very few hotel designated properties in that area have .
And the view from our balcony..breathtaking !!

A particular hotel. Not really as you know it. Rather a building with several appartments and rooms and a reception. Rather old, but definitely clean. Very kind and helpful owner. We paid a very low rate for Swiss standards.

Nice hotel in the mountains, very quiet and with amazing views to lake and mountains. Very well communicated with Interlaken by bus. Dani and all the staff are focused on make your experience superb.
