The hotel is located in the mountains so the ride there is really beautiful. The reception and other staff members were polite and gave an additional information what to visit. The view from the room was just magnificent. The breakfast was very tasty. We went to the restaurant as well and the overall experience was really amazing. It smelled so good in the saunas, really herbal.

This was one of the best properties I have stayed in. It’s spacious plus the view from balcony to Bernese oberland mountains is just stunning. Small details in apartment like cd player, egg holder, couch throw were amazing and made us feel home. This property is part of Dorint hotel group in Beatenberg. This is 20-25 mins bus ride away from Interlaken west bus station. Beatenberg doesn’t have too many restaurants or grocery store so better buy them in interlaken itself. This is good for quaint stay.

Hotel is fair. Nice view and off the tourist are Big dissapointmnet was i left an airpillow in the room and asked them to mail it back to me. They agreed for a fee which i duly wired and paid but never receive the pillow Big dissapointment Esp when i showed them the wire transfer as well

We heard that Beatenberg is the "longest" town in...

We heard that Beatenberg is the "longest" town in Switzerland. There are 11 stops made by bus 101. We wanted to not be in the midst of the hustle/bustle of Interlaken and Beatenberg and Hotel Gloria supposed our expectations in quiet environment, awesome views of Lake Thun and exceptional friendly service staff.

The views were amazing, the staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was perfect. The breakfast was spectacular, the room, the food the service. The only thing we were disappointed with was the dinner. Very overpriced for the quality of food and service. Our kids' schnitzel was so yellow and my dinner came 15 mins after everyone else's, so everyone was already done by the time I got my food.

Small village, looks like we arrived not in the season time as the city was empty and nothing was working except 3 restaurant for whole place. View is amazing but for activities we had to drive down to Interlaken

we have stayed in Beatenberg many times over the last 30years, it is a beautiful place to stay, unfortunately our last stay was dreadful due to the hotel, we had booked for a week, we only stayed the one night then booked a hotel in Interlaken as it was so bad

A quiet neighbourhood not far from the sites around the Interlaken area. Unbeatable views, and a lovely drive. With the tourist tax, our hotel gave us free public tickets and access to the local pool - fantastic!

Hotel Gloria is set in a fantastic location, high above Interlaken, with exceptional views over Lake Thun. Our room was clean and tidy, and the view from the balcony was amazing. The breakfast was excellent - lovely local produce - and it was really nice to receive a visit from Bernard, who gave us some good tips for different local driving experiences! We shall definitely be returning to try these out!
