Stunning location with views to die for, superb traditional Swiss Chalet hotel, great food, super friendly staff, really comfortable room and handy for the cable car. So quiet and peaceful yet well placed for all the amenities. Even a sauna to relax any aching muscles after an Alpine walk!!

Everything! Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The room was wonderful with great amenities, the location stunning and the food amazing. But it is the brilliant staff that made our stay truly memorable. They are all so friendly, helpful, attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. One night the dessert special had run out and my husband was really looking forward to trying it. The next night the chef had made one especially and let us know they were keeping it for him to have after dinner. Not only that, my husband said it was the best dessert he had ever eaten! The hotel is down a steep hill, so on leaving your luggage will be driven up to the station, which was greatly appreciated too.

Loved the location, atmosphere and food. Very clean rooms and also the shared facilities too. After a long days walking, was lovely place to rest and recover.

The views from our room’s balcony were to die for. The sport chalet is not much more than a hostel in reality, but it was impeccably clean and the breakfast was great.

It is a very nice classical alpine hotel. The views are wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel restaurant is very good.

Magical position on the edge of the valley

We stayed in a Premium room, and it was like a private zimmer. Complete privacy. We couldn't hear anyone else, couldn't see anyone from our balcony, we felt completely alone. The view is INCREDIBLE. The staff was wonderful, the restaurant at the hotel is great. The bartender even helped me to carry food back to our room for a romantic meal alone. Nothing but good things to say about Edelweiss. The Premium room was quite pricey, but 1000% worth it. We will certainly return.

We loved our stay! We stayed in 4 different hotels during our Swiss trip and this one was by far the best even if it wasn’t the most expensive. Staff was very friendly - they upgraded our room and provided baby bed for free. The view from the room is incredible (we had mountains but there is a free access to the balcony on the third floor if you want to take pics of the waterfall). Location was perfect. Parking is very specious. Breakfast was great and the mood in the restaurant is very relaxed. They also have a tea/coffee available for free the whole day and a playgroup corner for kids. You can find a booklet with the information about the area/things to do and hiking routes in the room that we found very interesting and useful!

Nice room, and big bathroom. Comfy beds.
