The neighborhood and the hotel stay were both lovely. I regretted only staying for one night and definitely want to come back. Location: The neighborhood where the hotel is situated is safe and beautiful, with plenty of charming and friendly restaurants, cafes, and bars within walking distance. The fact that they operate from early morning till late at night is great, and it's also a safe area at night. Facilities: The hotel has been newly remodeled, making it clean, pleasant, and attractive. The hot water works well, and there's nothing to complain about. The bedding is also very comfortable. Staff: Everything went smoothly, and the staff were friendly yet professional. Breakfast: Perfect breakfast. The ham and cheese are well-stocked, and the scrambled eggs and fruits are especially delicious

Punta Arenas is a wonderful town. It is full of history and is very safe and welcoming to tourists. It is very windy, so wrap up warm, but anyone goin g to southern Chile should pay it a visit (and if you are not going to southern Chile, why not? It is amazing and you should book a visit immediately).
I love history and I love geography and this place has a great combination of both. This southernmost city of Chile lies on the Strait of Magellan, the passage between the Atlantic and the Pacific that allowed humankind to circumnavigate the planet 500 years ago. You must visit the Museo Nao Victoria to appreciate this. And then one must visit the historic houses of the Braun family, the Casa de Sara Braun and the Casa de Mauricio Braun. As you walk through rooms drenched in fine European decor from the late nineteenth century, you can allow yourself to lament how all that richness stands upon yet another genocide of original peoples, and reflect upon how much land in the Americas was unwillingly ceded. Find a place to stay in the center so that you can forget about a car and walk to many good places to eat. For a full meal try the Cordero Asado at Los Ganaderos or the Congrio at Estilo Magallánico, and have a schop of Calafate Austral while you're at it. If you just want a snack have a couple of choripanes at the famous Kiosko Roca, with a banana milk smoothie.
Ther is a big grave yard with lots of history. The city is easy to walk and loads of great restaurants down by the water. We also enjoyed the walkways at the "top" of the city which has amazing views.
There are no many things to do in the city. The tour to see the penguins depend on the winds. One day is enough to walk around and get to know the city. As we could not go to Isla Magdalena we went to the Forte Bulnes trip, half day - it is nice. We also went to the Nau Victoria Museum - you can see the historical Boats related to the city reconstructed - the museum is a little bit far from the city center but it is worth it. We had lunch at Sotito’s - nice place to have a good meal. We also had dinner at the “Tabern” - very nice place in the center of the city. We algo had bad experiences with lunch and dinner on the other day on Esquina 21 and Speechless Patagonia - do not go to those restaurants. We have received recommendation for other 2 restaurants but we could not have dinner without a reservation and was not available anymore - Damiana and La Yegua Loca. In general it is nice to know Magallanes Streit - but the city is not so beautiful and do not have many things to do. One day is enough if you are arriving and need 1 day before going to Torres del Paine!
Just enough tourist stuff to make the visit worthwhile. If you don’t have a car, try to stay near the Plaza de Armas. Most everything you’ll want to see is nearby. You can easily arrange tours to some of the out of town sights like Fort Bulnes.
There is not too much to do in the city itself, it is a good place to go on a tour to the penguins or whales. The cemetery was interesting to visit. So with one or two days you are ok. Can be very windy and rainy.
Very clean, modern boutique hotel. Our room was very comfortable, specially the king size bed. We had one of the rooms facing the street, but the windows isolated well the street noise. Pablo, the host, was extremely helpful and gave us good recommendations, specially the restaurant that we chose for the first lunch there which was delicious (La Yegua Loca). The taxi driver he called for a half day excursion to Fuerte Bulnes (Juan) was very friendly and knowledgeable, and suggested many interesting places along the way. Very nice stay.
The hotel is amazing and very comfy. Located approximately 7min walk to the city center - uber and taxi are available 24/7. Breakfast was amazing and there was tea available 24/7. The staff is very good, specially Juanita and Marisol that were very polite and helpful. The bedroom is really good, very clean. The shower is good and hot, beds are large and comfy. You can also enjoy the hotel common areas in the rooftop or near the fireplace. I recommend it and hope to go back another time.
Punta Arenas
Very uncomplicated stay, clean room and bathroom, the best (very tasty and filling) breakfast I got in Chile so far (and I've got many), felt very welcome. The place is well organized, staff proactive and friendly. Side note: I was dump enough to leave quite some money and the staff gave it back to me (in a very professional mannel and with safety questions:)) when I came to pick my luggage left for storage. Seems like an obvious gesture but it really isn't. I appreciate honesty
Punta Arenas
Everything! We stayed in room 1 (more like a mini suite) The room was huge and had a plasma TV, microwave, coffee maker, utensils, silverware. The shower was my dream come true after long hikes and even longer drives. Super clean, and tastefully decorated. The owner went of her way to meet us after the official 9 pm check out. If you need a room in Punta Arenas, this is it. Not only will you be comfortable but you will also support a business owned and operated by local women.
Punta Arenas
We arrived from another hostel due to issues so it was late, we were warmly welcomed and could not haven been luckier to find this place. The hosts are wonderful and cannot do enough to help. The b n b is clean, warm and comfortable. The bed was one of the best I've stayed in. Breakfast was the best we've had in argentina and Chile. Cannot fault the place. If you want somewhere great to stay this is your place.
I loved the location, right on the Punta Arenas waterfront - good birding and very scenic! The staff were friendly and very helpful, assisting us with our multiple bookings and helping us print out critical documents for travel within Chile. I appreciated the in-house restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner. Having coffee and tea available outside dining hours was also much appreciated.
Punta Arenas
We stayed for only one night, but it was a quiet and peaceful one. The place - quite simple - was near the airport (my choice) and away from the city. The host (Angelo) was very attentive and helpful and always willing to make an extra effort. He even drove us downtown for a late dinner. Pick-up at the airport worked out perfectly. Breakfast was very good.
Punta Arenas
Our house was nice and cozy, just like on the pictures. Hot water was very good for the first user of the shower, got less hot for the second (this counts good in Chile). There was a nice kitchenette (not appeared in the reservation) with water heater, coffee, tea, sugar etc. The host was kind.
Punta Arenas
It’s a small bungalow, clean, everything is functioning, especially the heating😀. Carolina, the owner, is a very lovely person. She helped me a lot. Thank you for the great time I could have in Punta Arenas 😊
Best breakfast from all the hotels I stayed in Puerto Natales / Punta Arenas. A lot of options. Very luxurious type of place. Bath tub on the bathroom. Good views from the windows.
Punta Arenas
Clean, comfortable hostel facing the Strait of Magellan. Most likely the best one in Punta Arenas. Good WiFi, good breakfast, friendly staff, cozy public area.
