UNESCO site. Beautiful landscapes. wear proper hiking waterproof shoes. Raincoat for rainy days in March. plan to spend at least 2 nights. book rides with the Hotel to facilitate the arrival process...visitors have to pay entrance fee to the Ping On village. there is a ticket office and security gate for this purpose. travel light and enjoy its natural beauty.Guest review byanneCanada - 10.0
Beautiful, underrated, I should have stayed one more night.
Beautiful, underrated, I should have stayed one more night. It was very easy to get around and the entire village at Ping'an has English and Chinese signage all on farming/hiking trails. I can't believe how empty the village is and part of me is concerned that not enough tourists are visiting even though I loved the serenity of it. The hotel I stayed at had the best service I've ever experienced. It was truly super considerate. Right after I booked the hotel, the manager got in touch with me proactively and helped me choose and reserve a bus. Moreover, the view from the rooms and the restaurant was excellent. Room.are really clean and modern with nice decoration. Jason helped us to choose our hiking trail to see the most beautiful part of Longji area. Hotel is 300m from parking lot and staff is picking your luggage up. You do not have to worry about this part. Our visit to Ping’an and Longji Holiday hotel were amongst our most favourite. Mai’s English language skills made it so easy. We ate rice, bamboo shoots, green veggies and drank tea all grown in her families terrace garden. The hotel is just a 5 minutes walk away from the parking lot. The staff is most helpful and very friendly. The communication with the staff is great and they help in any way they can.
