I'm not adding photos in order to keep the privacy of my family. Larnaca has a nice walk away - with a marina, restaurants , cafes, and playground centers for kids. I thing a good time to travel there is September - where it is less hot and humid though (I was in July due to vacation dates constrains). Glad we chose Lanarca - lots of bars/restaurants that are very much family foussed so no loud karaoke type venues. Lots of locals go there and the quality of the food is consistently good wherever you go. If you like to sit on the beach the costs of sunbeds and umbrellas is reasonable (2.50 euros each) - the beach is pretty dirty so you won't want to sit on a towel on the sand. Sea however is clean and warm. There is a free shower/changing area with toilets that is kept really clean. Lanarca is nice and central so excursions from there were easy to organise and be picked up. Cyprus has an excellent bus service and it ws easy to get cheap buses from Lanarca to other main towns/cities for more exploring.Guest review byJoanneUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A city where apart from the sea, the beach and the restaurants on the seafront I didn't find anything else interesting. A quiet city, I consider it modest and boring, for those who only want the beach, rest and good food. There is a shopping mall, Metropolis, not very interesting, where you can only get there by taxi, because the bus takes an hour (!) for those about 3 km, because it goes around and through the whole city.
