Altun Tabya Vintage is located in Famagusta, 28 mi from Larnaca and 17 mi from Ayia Napa. The hotel has a barbecue and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. I had a very pleasant 2 nights stay at this hotel! They let me check in a couple of hours early. Breakfast very good. Only about 2 km from Palm Beach, I also visit the ghost town in the south of Famagusta. The tourist brochure was very helpful for sightseeing. If I visit Famagusta again I will definitely stay here again! This was part of my backpacking trip around the island of Cyprus and had a wonderful time in the cities Kyrenia and Famagusta in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus!

Located in Famagusta, 12 miles from Cyherbia Botanical Park, La Terrazza Hotel provides accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Great turkish-style service, everything clean, aromatic everywhere, relaxing music in hallways. Big and comfortable rooms apartment-style with own kitchen with small fridge and kettle. There even was an electric stove, but no pans or pots 😄 The breakfast is great, but without a twist, just nice. The restaurant on the top seems is the best in the city, airy and full of lights and interesting parts. You can go outside to the restaurant's balcony and drink coffee there 🔥 The staff was really friendly, they eveb helped to find lost child's toy and stored it until a friend ame to get it. Thanks a lot!

Located 11 miles from Agia Napa Monastery, Mystery Garden Guest House offers a garden, a shared lounge and air-conditioned accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. What a lovely welcome and stay! We felt part of the family immediately. They were so kind and thoughtful and we enjoyed their company. The garden is a delight, full of plants, herbs and salad, with shady places to sit. The rooms have traditional Cypriot furniture and artifacts. We had a delicious evening meal with the family and breakfast too – everything fresh from the garden or hand-made. You could not find a more friendly and welcoming place to stay. We highly recommend Mystery House for single travellers and families – everyone!

a fascinating old town. The scattered ruins of old churches give a unique atmosphere. Extremely quiet at night (not recommended if you are looking for night life!). At 20 minutes from Salamis ruins, where you can relax on the beach after the hot and tiring vist of the ruins, it is the ideal place also for exploring Karpax peninsula and the northern coast. I should have stayed more!
It is a great place to visit with many things to do. There are many attractions to see during the day like city walls, churches, Ghost town and beaches are fantastic. In the evening you can enjoy life music in bars.
We stayed inside the old walled city of Famagusta. It was wonderful to walk among the buildings of by-gone centuries. It was peaceful, secure and so relaxing. I expected a lot, but received so much more. Our experience was beyond words. It was hard leaving to come back to the hustle and bustle of a large American city.
Wonderful facilities clean and well looked after. Plenty of staff offering drinks inside out. Two big pools and lovely beach area. All inclusive restaurants offer plenty of selection. Live band entertainment.
Beautiful old town. I'd like to recommend a restaurant ( forgot the name) very close to the no less visit worthy Patek (crazy delicious Loukoums!!) with an outdoor terrace in a parking lot. It sound weird, but the service is excellent, the food wonderful, the prices very reasonable and on Fridays and Saturdays there are live concert (amazing and gorgeous woman singer when we visited)
Famagusta may not be as fancy and busy as Larnaca, but it's lacked back charm is great. Plus you can so much more money for money because they use a different currency. Will definitely visit again when I come to Cyprus.
