Thank you for providing a beautiful space for my adult daughter and I to have some quality time together. While she enjoyed the pool, I had two spa treatments - head massage and salt scrub. The therapist was incredible. My daughter is a gym junky and was very impressed with the gym. The restaurant food and staff were exceptional. I could not say enough about the staff in general. We grabbed a takeaway coffee from the restaurant on the morning of our departure and being Australian’s we are coffee snobs. This was the best cortado I’ve had on my European trip and the delightful young lady who made it she be commended.

We liked a lot the view from the balcony, despite the fact that we were the closest room to the nearby restaurant (we asked for change, but the hotel was fully booked). The breakfast was nice and charming - the main hall has the same good view and the local jam offered by the personnel is something really exquisite! The rooms might be small, however ours was very clean and recently renovated. Despite its simplistic style, it had everything necessary for our stay.

A quiet and peaceful retreat with exceptional staff, accommodation and food. We particularly enjoyed our rustic house set in a private courtyard with pool (shared between 4 holiday lets). Established flowering trees soften the environment. There's a bedroom with a large wardrobe, TV (never used it) with the separate kitchen and shower room is quite spacious. Shutters on doors and windows kept the rooms dark enough until you want the light in. The thick stone walls keep the room cool, even in the high heat and the AC is very efficient when needed. Simple and beautiful. Original with modern updates where needed. The large bed was very comfortable. The mosquito net was helpful but there weren't a lot of them to annoy. The kitchen had everything you need to be self sufficient with very nice dishes, glasses etc. The shower room is a good size, modern with good quality fittings. Good quality towels. Step out the door to the private patio overhung with pergola and natural shade. Deep padded sun loungers, a table and chairs for each home. It's very private, quiet all day and it feels very safe. The Tochni Tavern, for breakfast and dinner (and anything in between) is a 15 minute walk. We didn't have a car, preferring to walk. There are some steep hill parts. Anyone with mobility issues may find the walk difficult but there is car parking available. With the amount of food offered you will need some exercise! Every meal we had was of the highest quality, beautifully presented and lots of it. The half board option is excellent value for money. Cocktails are fabulous. Try the Aristotle. The owners and staff are most welcoming and friendly. I cannot praise them highly enough. Friendly, smiling, helpful. The village is quiet and there is a useful shop. Though infrequent there are buses.

Hotel was so good first time -we returned. And i would go again. It is a beautiful location and you can swim (ocean) just off the pier in front of hotel. Absolutely loved it. The half board option is well worth it -the food is incredible with a very large selection. And I cannot speak highly enough of the staff - Really genuine kind hard working people. Wonderful atmosphere -made a big impression. Highly recommended.

Everything was very clean and neat, wonderful staff throughout the whole place. The hotel has wonderful facilities and entertainment for kids. The front desk team is very efficient and helpful! The breakfast had big variety of choices. Our kid was turning 2 so the hotel had also provided a surprise cake and birthday letter for him, very sweet and thoughtful gesture from their side, much appreciated!

Paphos itself is about 2-3 day experience (in december, as sunbathing isnt much of an option). Car is essensial to see things in and around Paphos. In december the city was nice and quiet, not too crowded. Perfect for walks, museums (although some places were closed for the season).

I liked other beaches better than the one directly outside my hotel but visiting the other beaches was phenomenal - despite the weather. It was off-season and very quiet as it was December. It was nice to go and we enjoyed it but we were using the holiday to assess this area of Cyprus for relocation so we weren't in true holiday mode. The weather was absolutely atrocious with a storm and driving rain (4-14 Dec 2025) and quite cold so it curtailed some of our visits to view things. We popped across to Paphos for 3 days and the sun came out - albeit a minor earthquake happened - and we enjoyed it more to be honest. There were more things to see and do. I suspect we only enjoyed it more because the weather was warmer. Visiting off-season you'll find many things are closed as they are built around tourists for the most part. There was still enough restaurants to visit to have a choice though, so that was good. Overall it is a beautiful area - more so in the summer when things are open - and that fact would have been more obvious if we'd have had the weather to explore as well. I walked around in my trainers and each time I got back to the hotel I had to use the hairdryer to dry them out! This is unusual though. I liked beaches close to the Turkish border

Friendly people, lots of shops and restaurants. We did a lot of walking around which was great. Pharmacies do close early throughout the week so if you need anything you need to get it before 4-5 PM max (we have walked around 7Km one weekend to find an open one as even though they showed open on Google maps they were closed). There is another passport check except the one in the airport when you enter the city due to the fact that it is the Turkish part of Cyprus. Tasty food, big portions, cheap prices.

We travelled in November which is out of season and therefore it was very quiet with the majority of the bars and restaurants on the main strip being closed. We were closer to Kapparis where ample bars and restaurants remained open. We had no complaints.

There were all kinds of sport facilities: basketball, football, ping pong etc, and the most popular hiking trails in Troodos are close by car. Since there was a problem with the electricity when we arrived, we had the opportunity to try both the small house and apartment type accommodations. You can have more privacy with a house, as it has an own kitchen, but the rooms are much smaller and the wifi signal was very weak, practically none. The apartment was much more spacious, but if you want to cook, you need to use a shared kitchen. There was even netflix in the apartment that was missing in the house and unlike in the house, the wifi worked properly. You need to have whatsapp on your mobile, as you get check in info by whatsapp. They have a phone number and they were responsive, could communicate in English.

Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors. In the village center, the traditional architecture remains intact, with taverns like Podji Poda serving excellent local cuisine, and small cafés welcoming you for a relaxing drink and dessert in the main square. Landmarks such as the chapels of Saint Nicholas and Saint George provide opportunities for pilgrimage, while Marina's Rope Park offers activities for the more adventurous visitors. There are many small streets to stroll around.

There are many small streets to stroll around. My favourite architectural details were the many arches, hidden courtyards and the various antique door knockers. You need at least 2 days to unwind and explore. We ate at House 1923 for dinner, and also return for iced coffee. Nice atmosphere ina restore historic hotel. We also took a short drive to Lefkara dam at sunset- if you want o hear th sound of silence, you can find it there.

One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages.

One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages. Well organized beyond to what meets the eye. Everybody can see the stunning village, especially at night. But only true nature lovers and adventures will fully enjoy the magic of the area. There are tons of well maintained hiking trails to explore on foot or bike. Dozens of hidden gems to discover and plenty of great restaurants in the village and surrounding area to enjoy!

It was very good to discover a small medieval town away from mass tourists who are only there to sunbathe. We were interested in learning the history of Cyprus, Lofou offered other aspects of Cyprus other than the sea, swim and sun. We were sorry to miss Joseph the manager when we left., he was most friendly and helpful in every way. Thank you Joseph!
