Loved the location, amazing value and they had everything we needed in the apartment. Owner very helpful getting us a cot bed. Only recommendation would be to update the sofa bed as it was exceptionally uncomfortable.

If you want traditional Cypriot food try The Hideaway or The Two Friends, and for something a little different The Bunch of Grapes - at busy times, best to book a table so your not disappointed!! The village also has a large Ampitheatre that hosts bands from the uk etc.

The beach is excellent for those of us who enjoy proper swimming in the sea. It would be less suitable for those with children who want shallow water and sand. The beach is pebbly. There is no music or entertainment, except for the restaurants, which suited us perfectly.

Pissouri has a charm that’s hard to explain until you’ve been I have now visited five times and have already booked to return in September. The village feels wonderfully authentic — cobbled streets, traditional bars and locals who still greet you with genuine warmth. There’s a real sense of community and Cypriot culture, without the tourist overload you get elsewhere. Evenings in the village square are relaxed but lively — great food, the occasional live music night, and just a lovely atmosphere all around. Pissouri Bay, just a short drive down, complements the village perfectly. The beach is peaceful and clean, with clear water and stunning cliffs that catch the evening light beautifully. It’s quiet enough to feel like a retreat but has just enough around (like a few tavernas and bars) to make it comfortable. You can unwind, swim, paddleboard, or simply sit with a coffee / glass of wine and watch the waves. What I love most is how balanced it is — you can enjoy a proper local experience in the village and then head to the bay for that laid-back coastal vibe. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and really enjoy the moment.

We came to Pissouri with two fifty somethings, two twenty's...

We came to Pissouri with two fifty somethings, two twenty's and one teenager. The place was perfect for us adults. The pace of life matched the temperature. For the youngsters, There were the inevitable complaints but secretly, they did enjoy themselves. If only beach umbrellas came with weapons grade WIFI.

Lovely traditional old village many family restaurants still hear.. Safe swimming at beach. Nice supermarket 5 minutes away sell everything . Amphitheatre stunning to walk round one evening music on lovely to sit on balcony and people watch coming and going hear nothing when doors shut and went to bed

Highly recommend! Spacious apartment with a nice view: fantastic location (3 minutes to the beach and to main street, but peaceful and quite) peaceful and relaxing. The place provides calm, quiet and relaxation. The apartment itself is cozy, nicely designed and equipped,. Can't imagine a better place! Special thanks to our extremely supportive host for his worm welcome and good care! (we can also fully recommend his very nice restaurant with the best traditional food we had in Cyprus). Fully recommended!

The villa was extremely clean and Chris came in every other day to clean the pool area and surrounds . Chris was exceptionally helpful and very friendly and had provided everything that we needed for our stay in the villa . We found we needed a car or there is a very efficient taxi service in Pissouri bay, however the beach and numerous good restaurants are only a mile or so away.,

The Vina Oliva is just a two minute drive from Pissouri Beach. Our room was in a newly built block and everything was of good quality. The room was a lovely size with good facilities. The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was basic - traditional Greek - and suited our needs.
