The thing we enjoyed the most was the peaceful atmosphere in the old town that features picturesque streets, traditional architecture, and welcoming cafés. We had a couple of glasses of wine in a nice cafe on the central square just a 2 min stroll from the hotel. Surrounded by lakes and rolling hills, this a perfect starting point for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts especially on your way from Munich to Neuschwanstein and Schwangau area.

Ferienwohnung Oase is a perfect place to stay in Peißenberg. The apartment is equipped extremely well with all the kitchen furniture you may need but also with reasonable amount of spices, oils, coffee, tee, and even pasta! The hosts are nice and welcoming so we feel right at home during our stay. The beds are nice, everything is new, clean, and shiny) Highly recommend!
