I loved everything about this hotel. It is a 5 star resort with an outstanding staff that goes out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed and have everything you need. Breakfast is fantastic and cooked fresh every day. They have two pools which are well maintained and perfect for swimming. Their garden area where you can walk around and look at local and exotic flowers is gorgeous and very private. The location is perfect, within a 5 minute walk to the central park but far enough away that you don't get bothered by the noise. But the best part of this hotel is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful! I can't wait to visit again!

This was a great little haven of peace in a great location. Just a few blocks from the main plaza. We used the pool - which was nice, and refreshing. The hot tub was empty when we were there. We were able to use the washing machine and dry our clothes on the line - a wonderful service to provide especially after traveling some days in Ecuador. Our room was lovely, everyone considerate and helpful. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a feast and there are small shops just outside if you have forgotten anything. We will stay here again when we come to Vilcabamba, for sure! A great find.

The hosts were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. There are 4 rental units, all different. We were originally booked into one that was very nice but with no view and asked if we could change. They switched us to an upper unit with incredible 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains. The property is an easy walk from town but is up a hill so it feels rural and the views!! We also appreciated the use of the washing machine.
