Didn’t get u to I stay due to not being able to access the property as the access code to the gate didn’t work and no staff on site to sort it out. However they did refund my money promptly and apologised.

We have used the hotel several times as a stop-over on the way north to the ferry. It has always been a pleasant experience. Its location is very convenient, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are helpful. We normally eat in the cafeteria where the food is good and reasonably priced. We will be back.

Possibly not as interesting as other places nearby, but, it is a convenient place from which to explore Ribera del Duero. Hotel rates are also reasonable compared to other sites in the region. What's not to like?

The choice on the menu in the restaurant is limited but I understand why as it is all fresh but the accompaniments are few, vegetables are few and usually only peppers. A better selection would be good

we only stopped one night as 76avelling from Alicante to Santander. room and bathroom both large, staff friendly and spoke english small fridge in room which was ideal for putting travel food in iy.

Aranda is much bigger than I anticipated.

Aranda is much bigger than I anticipated. It has a compact but interesting “/centro historico” without the usual array of old churches, but instead some very interesting shop fronts and buildings. Few chain stores but mainly all locally owned businesses, which appears to be thriving as few empty shops. Not many formal restuarants, and they don’t open until 8pm, ( try the lamb cutlets, a local specialty, plus the Ribera del duero wine) but lots of atmospheric tapas bars with a good choice, at prices much lower than the Costas. Great truly spainish ambience, no tourist menus. If you want real Spain, but not a dusty deserted pueblo, come here.

Very good as always.

Very good as always. I regularly stay here en route to Bilbao ferry port. Room, dinner and breakfast all fine. Very convenient for motorway. Underground locked-up parking available for an extra €10 which I use but there's lots of free parking at ground level. Excellent value in my opinion.

Amazing building very traditionally Spanish. Staff were great. Elwin on receoption was exceptional. We loved the wine tasting with Carlos, they very kindly arranged this when we arrived. Hotel easy to find and parking good. Despite our negitive comments we would still recommend the hotel as we had a great time.

Excellent hotel, stay every year. Inevitably price was significantly higher in total than a year ago, but at moment still suits our plans. Really welcoming reception much appreciated. A nice hotel.

This hotel is dog friendly and we always eat in the bar. The staff are very friendly. We use this hotel a lot when travelling from / to Santander. It’s only a 3 hour drive away.
