I have to admit, I was a bit scared by the position and the vintage looking rooms; instead, our stay at Hotel Ibaigune was actually amazing! Rooms were spacious and our beds were really comfortable. We got some nice advice from the guy at the reception on where to have dinner and also had an amazing continental breakfast in the morning, with both savory and sweet treats and lots of fruit and beverages! We really enjoyed our stay, and also had the time of our life having a little get together on their outside tables and chairs (we were a big group, hope we didn't bother anybody)... thank you very much for your ospitality!

The location was secluded enough to be out of town but close enough to the Camino. The restaurant Nextdoor was fantastic. The room was the right size for what I needed. The air condo was a treat after a few nights in hostels.

Super kind staff, a very beautiful hotel in the most central place of this wonderful town!

The hotel made us feel privileged it was perfect in every way

Really nice staff. We were allowed to check in really early! Thank you!

Absolutely love this place. There is a large room with a wall of glass windows overlooking the water where the birds gather. Lots of trails and beaches nearby. The bus stop is 5 minute walk away.

I loved how my room never let me forget that I was in a castle. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The breakfast was ample and served quickly.

Beautifully renovated! Very kind and helpful staff. Beautifully incorporated the historic walls of the hotel. Each room was a bit different. Stunning! Lively atmosphere!

We loved everything!! It is a magical place

The breakfast was very good and quickly provided

Very pintoresc location, great hotel excellent beds, outstanding host!

The staff was amazing! They took such good care of us. We were hiking the Camino and allowed us to check in early. They made sure to let us know great places to visit and to eat affordably. They also made sure to let us know if we needed anything along the trail that we could call them for assistance! Truly above and beyond!

Great place and great people for a pilgrim that needs to rest! He also got some pools as gift! Thank youuuu I booked for my hubby and he loved!

The facility is charming and ideally situated vis a vis the historic sights in Gernika. The owners and staff were friendly and very accommodating.
