Years ago, I stayed at this place and did have a good experience so I decided to stay again while walking the Camino. The accommodations are nice and comfortable and not far from the Camino. The hotel also owns an alburgue and restaurant down the street. They do have great food. The room was comfortable and had lo the amenities a traveling pilgrim would need. White there is no electric washer or dryer, they do offer a place to hand-wash clothes and a racks to dry them in an enclosed patio.

This unique property used to be a monastery in the 1950’s. It is located on a remote property in the country. It has a swimming pool and garden area and outside patio. The owner as well known local chef prepares all the meals. The Mayor of Sahagún and her family were dining there the night we were there having a spectacular paella dinner. Very romantic.

Ana is an absolute joy to communicate with and she really makes your stay fantastic. There are a lot of extras in the house that were extremely nice, such as a first aid kit that had tons of stuff for blisters, and she lays out a map of the town and tells you where to go and for what. Ana is awesome. The apt/house is fantastic. It is very large and the ground floor has everything you need for any couple, so you don’t need to go upstairs to the other 3 bedrooms. Downstairs has a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room with washer, very fast and reliable Wi-Fi, a nice couch, table and chairs in the living room (with a large Smart TV) and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is large, the shower is fantastic and the towels are big and very soft. It is located within 60 seconds of wherever you want to be in town. The grocery store is one minute away as are some great coffee shops, as well as a nice restaurant about 50 feet from the property. The house is also right on the Camino. We would stay here again, and we would highly recommend Ana‘s property to anyone.
