We loved staying at Ganadería Virgen María. This is a cattle ranch, where they raise the mighty toros bravos. If you’re into the ranch lifestyle, then you’ll absolutely love it here. It is peaceful, the food delicious, very family-style. The hosts, Irene and her parents, are generous and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back.

Very well appointed room, right off the highway in very quiet area. Pool area looked really nice! Staff extra friendly and helpful. Late checkin was no problem, parking is inside the property enclosure, so you need to contact them on arrival for them to open the gate. Restaurant beside the gas station nearby opened for dinner till 11:00pm and opens for breakfast at 3:00am! Tall people beware of the sloping roof towards the windows.
